As of today, Wii U owners can access the Crunchyroll application, a leading global destination and platform for anime, manga and Asian dramas.

Crunchyroll features over 25,000 episodes and 15,000 hours of hit licensed content. This includes popular current and classic shows like Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Sword Art Online and Hunter x Hunter (check out this show if you haven’t already, by the way!). Nintendo says the app is “a great match for Wii U” due to the console’s “wide variety of video game and entertainment options”.

Wii U users can access Crunchyroll by downloading the free application from the eShop. Premium Crunchyroll members can watch content immediately. If you don’t have a subscription, you can sign up for a free 14-day trial via the app or at the Crunchyroll site.

Something unexpected arrived on the Japanese 3DS eShop today – and it’s not a game.

As of now, system owners can purchase and download Disney’s Up movie. Pricing is set at 3,240 yen. 3D viewing is supported.

No word on whether Up will be distributed in the west at this time.

It’s truly a Christmas miracle! A few new physical rewards were added to the North American Club Nintendo website today, and you could argue that they’re all quite good. They’re better than the typical posters at least!

For 700 coins, you can order the NES Remix 2 t-shirt. There are also two 3DS Game Card Cases – one based on Zelda (returning), and another featuring Pikmin / Super Mario Bros (new).

Square Enix is bringing the latest Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call downloadable content to the west. New tracks include songs from Bravely Default, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana.

Starting Wednesday, the following tracks will be available for $0.99 each:
