The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dataminers have managed to find unused paraglider fabrics in the game. Based on the discovery, speculation is going around that Nintendo could eventually release two new amiibo tied to the Switch exclusive.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a ton of different fabrics players can use to customize Link’s glider. Most can be obtained with normal play, but some are unlocked by using select amiibo.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection director Masakazu Eguchi has briefly discussed the origins of the release.
Eguchi spoke about how it came to be in an interview with 4Gamer. It seems that the project was in the works for about two years, and while Capcom already decided on things internally, it sounds like fans’ interest also helped make things a reality.

Fire Emblem Engage devs on how the DLC characters were decided

The developers of Fire Emblem Engage have briefly discusses how the game’s DLC characters were decided, which added new Emblems to the game.
Fire Emblem Engage kicked off its Expansion Pass with Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude from Fire Emblem: Three Houses plus Tiki from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. Wave 2 added Hector (Emblem of Strength) Soren (Emblem of Acumen), and Camilla (Emblem of Revelation). Chrom and Robin (Emblem of Bonds) and Veronica (Emblem of Heroes) were in the third wave.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II Restored Content DLC cancelled on Switch

Aspyr has announced that it’s cancelling plans for the release of Restored Content DLC in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II on Switch.
The DLC would have featured new content, including a mission with droid companion HK-47, a revamped ending, new dialogue and interactions among your crew, and new quests and combat missions scattered throughout the world. This would have been restored from what was cut when the game originally came out in 2004. Plans were also in place to make it entirely free.
Valve reached out to Nintendo first before Dolphin emulator was removed from Steam

Much discussion has taken place after Valve took down the Dolphin emulator listing last week on Steam. However, new information has come to light revealing that the move was technically spurred on by Valve initially.
Rather than Nintendo filing a DMCA, the GameCube and Wii emulator was removed after Valve brought it to Nintendo’s attention. The Verge obtained emails showing how the Big N’s lawyers especially took issue with the use of cryptographic keys.

Nintendo releasing new wave of Switch Joy-Con colors

Nintendo has announced a new wave of Switch Joy-Con colors. The lineup includes Pastel Purple (L) / Pastel Green (R) as one set, with Pastel Pink (L) and Pastel Yellow (R) making up the second set.
All of these Switch Joy-Con colors are due out on June 30, 2023 worldwide. Here’s the official blurb: “Start off your summer in style with this new line of pastel Joy-Con. Whether you’re at the beach or a backyard barbecue, you’ll be keeping it cool with these colorful controllers!”

Nintendo announces Everybody 1-2 Switch

Nintendo just announced Everybody 1-2 Switch, which follows in the footsteps of the original launch title for the system. It will launch on June 30, 2023.
About a year ago, rumors surfaced that Nintendo was working on a 1-2 Switch sequel. However, it was claimed that there was uncertainty with the project and even had a small chance of being cancelled. In the end Nintendo will move forward with the launch, but it looks like the company is getting it out the door quickly.

Ubisoft Forward Live announced for June 12

Original (3/27): Ubisoft has announced that it will host a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12, 2023. The company will be providing fans with updates on projects it has in development, and there’s a good chance we’ll be hearing about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC here. We know that the event will be happening in Los Angeles, but further information is not yet available.
Ubisoft previously announced that it would be appearing at E3 2023. However, it has since decided against that, with a spokesperson stating the company “made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction”.
