Original (10/6): JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is back with the reveal of another DLC character, with Yuya Fungami set to join the roster.
Yuya Fungami – from Diamond is Unbreakable – is the second character in the game’s second season pass. Leone Abbacchio was the first one, and we should be getting one more to round on the latest wave. The final addition should originate from Part 8: JoJolion.
Rumor: Sonic Superstars getting DLC in 2024, new game next holiday

Information has seemingly come to light regarding SEGA’s plans for Sonic the Hedgehog, including DLC for Sonic Superstars and a new game entirely for 2024.
A brand and licensing presentation from SEGA of America was spotted that goes over the company’s overall plans for the franchise. Sonic Superstars, which is about to launch on Switch, will supposedly be getting DLC at some point next year. SEGA is also apparently planning a brand new Sonic game entirely for the 2024 holiday season, though the presentation doesn’t go into specifics aside from mentioning a “prologue” planned a few months before launch.
We have a look at the relevant slide below. Note that the presentation’s validity has not been confirmed – which is why we’re marking this as a rumor.

[Review] Fate/Samurai Remnant
Posted on 1 year ago by Dawn in Reviews, Switch | 0 comments
System: Switch
Release date: September 29, 2023
Developer: Omega Force
Publisher: Koei Tecmo
Although Koei Tecmo has slowed down in recent years with numbered Dynasty Warriors games, one thing it has not let up on are crossover titles, which takes the familiar hack-and-slash formula and gives it a unique twist drawn from another franchise. The latest such crossover is Fate/Samurai Remnant, which takes its inspiration from Type-Moon’s Fate series, an exhaustively convoluted amalgamation of various media that started life as a visual novel in 2004. Despite a few visual hiccups on Switch, Fate/Samurai Remnant is far greater than the sum of its parts, and is a fantastic experience that is an easy recommendation for both newcomers and series veterans for both franchises.

Nintendo spent more dev costs on Super Mario Bros. Wonder animations

There’s a lot to like about Super Mario Bros. Wonder, including the game’s visuals and animations. It sounds like this has been a particular area of focus for the team.
In an interview with NPR, producer Takashi Tezuka said Nintendo poured more of the development costs into the game’s animations. Funds for the company’s titles are typically focused on actual gameplay. Also mentioned is how the team wanted players “to experience something similar” to what fans saw in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

[Let’s Talk] Do you replay games?
Posted on 1 year ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk | 0 comments
Just like it can be nice to go back to an old movie you love, replaying a game – especially one you really enjoyed – can always be a good time. But with more and more games coming out theses days, it’s sometimes tough to go back to titles you picked up previously. Some are also firmly against replaying games and would rather go for new experiences only.
With so many different opinions out there when it comes to replaying games, what side of the fence do you sit on? Do you ever return to a title you went through before? Or do you primarily stick to new games? Let us know in the comments.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Shiny breeding guide
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
For the most part, catching Shiny Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet is easier than ever before, and we’re written up a guide specifically for breeding.
In this game, hunting Shiny Pokemon in the wild is much faster than hatching them from Eggs. That being said, there are more than a few Pokemon that can only be Shiny if you hatch them from an Egg – this includes starter Pokemon, Hisuian forms, and more. Fortunately, the famous Masuda Method is back, and you’ll need to take full advantage of it to get your Shiny Pokemon as quickly as possible. Our breeding guide walks you through the specifics of the Masuda Method as well as how to hatch your next target as efficiently as possible.
