Rumor: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 datamine reveals DLC wave 3 Hero design

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 fans have looked through the game’s files following the release of the new version 1.2.0 update and wave 2 DLC, and via a datamine, have apparently discovered the design for the next new Hero.
We have the image attached after the break. Nothing is revealed in terms of story content, but for those looking to maintain the surprise, keep that in mind before proceeding.

Adam Howden, the voice of Shulk, voices the Nopon Archsage in new Xenoblade 3 DLC

Here’s a bit of trivia that may blow your mind: Adam Howden, who played Shulk in the first Xenoblade Chronicles, is the voice of the Nopon Archsage in the new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC. It goes without saying, but this is specifically for the English version.
The Nopon Archsage was just added as part of the game’s Expansion Pass. He’s included in the new Challenge Battles where players take on consecutive enemies to earn accessories and special outfits.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 just received its new version 1.2.0 update, and as part of that, wave 2 of the game’s DLC has gone live.
As a reminder, the next wave of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC is primarily comprised of two elements. The first aspect is Ino, a new Hero with an additional quest. Challenge Battles are also included in which players can earn accessories and special outfits by taking on tough enemies.
The third wave of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, comprised of more Challenge Battles, a new Hero, and outfits will be live by April 2023. A new story scenario for the game will follow by the end of 2023 and concludes all DLC.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have shared what is presumably their final video for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Wave 2 Expansion Pass DLC, and have now shown off the swimsuit costumes players will be able to unlock in the game.
Players can earn special outfits and accessories by taking on the new Challenge Battles. This mode, which introduces the Nopon Archsage, features consecutive battles against tough enemies.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have introduced the Nopon Archsage, who will be featured in Wave 2 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass and ties into Challenge Battles.
Challenge Battles are accessible by walking up to a portal located in Llyn Nyddwr. This can be found in the Fornis Region, specifically Ribbi Flats. After entering the portal, you’ll end up in the Land of Challenges. The Nopon Archsage is here and there’s more to him than meets the eye. He’s voiced by Akio Ootsuka in the Japanese version – that’s actually the same person who voiced Consul Z.

Takahashi left a lengthy message in the art book included with the special edition that was recently made available to fans.

Ino is less than a week away from joining Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and we now have a few details about the character thanks to a post shared on social media today.
Ino was seemingly created by the Great Nopon – the tweet does not specify who this is. Interestingly, she introduces herself as an “Artificial Blade”, though Noah and his friends remain suspicious of her. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fans may point to Tora as the one behind Ino, though that isn’t confirmed at this time.

Nintendo Everything has created a new difficulty guide for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which covers the differences between the options and more.
The game can be quite difficult to get into; the experience can be overwhelming, with the battle system being a particularly hectic element that new players have to contend with. However, Monolith Soft has implemented several different difficulty options in the game to combat this, whether you just want to cruise through the story or you want to challenge yourself to some more grueling fights – though sadly, the game doesn’t really detail what the differences between these Easy/Normal/Hard difficulties are beyond a basic “makes the game easier/more balanced/harder” text box. Ino, a girl who looks mechanical, will be included as a Hero. Players that complete her quest can unlock her as a new Hero. Challenge Battles will also be added, and accessories and special outfits can be earned by challenging stronger and stronger enemies.
