There hasn’t been much news about Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse as of late. Fortunately though, it looks like that’s already starting to change.

WayForward’s Matt Bozon posted a message on Twitter earlier this week saying than an update will be shared “soon”.

That was followed up a few hours ago with a new teaser image:

Banana Bliss: Jungle Puzzles is launching on the 3DS eShop next week, Teyon has announced. The game will be available in both North America and Europe for $3.99 / €3.99 respectively.

Banana Bliss: Jungle Puzzles is an action puzzler developed by Mechanic Arms, which has players guiding Morris the monkey through the dense jungle canopy of Paradise Island. You’ll need to collect all the scattered hearts for Molly – Morris’ companion.

Players who find the invisible banana in each stage can unlock extra stages. Jungle critters will attempt to interfere with your hunt for hearts and bananas along the way.

Banana Bliss: Jungle Puzzles includes the following features:

• Swing through over 300 puzzles in 7 jungle-inspired worlds
• Climb and interact with boulders, bars and other items to clear each puzzle
• Avoid or destroy the jungle critters that roam aimlessly around the jungle
• Earn a Banana Bonus in each level to save the level’s replay and watch it back with Playback

Lobodestroyo is coming to Wii U, but Nintendo’s console won’t be a launch platform for the title.

Lefthanded Games explained in a Kickstarter backer-only update that the Wii U version will arrive after the Ouya exclusivity window expires. This is due to a stipulation in the “Ouya Free the Games Fund”.

For every $10,000 in funds Ouya matches, the platform gains one month of exclusivity. Lobodestroyo has collected roughly $40,000, meaning four months of exclusivity is required.

Despite the wait, Lefthanded Games believes the wait will be worth it. The extra time will be used to properly port Lobodestroyo to Wii U “and take advantage of the new hardware.”

Lefthanded Games’ Kickstarter update in full reads:

Super World Karts GP is a possibility for the Wii U. Nintendo’s console has been added in as a stretch goal on Kickstarter and if funds exceed $25,000 AUD, creator Paul Hamilton will bring the game to the eShop.

Hamilton will first need to raise enough money for Super World Karts GP itself. Only ten days remain in the Kickstarter campaign, which requires a little more than $10,000 AUD for successful funding. Hamilton will need to collect $16,000 AUD by December 23.
