World End Economica: Complete

Sekai Games has shared a trailer for World End Economica: Complete, a three-part visual novel for Switch. We’ve included the video below.

Spiritfarer

Spiritfarer was updated to version 1.6 this week. Known as the “Lily Update”, it added Lily the Butterfly to guide the player through several scenes which add depth and detail to the main character Stella’s story. It also contains improvements to the local co-op play and various bug fixes.

Detroit: Become Human

Quantic Dream has long been known as a PlayStation developer. Now, however, the company has started to venture out on its own. After making well-known narrative games like Heavy Rain, Quantic Dream has started to self-publish, and is even working with other developers as well.

As far as why Quantic Dream is now starting to explore self-publishing, head of publishing Guillaume de Fondaumière recently told Nintendo Everything:

E3 2021

Update: Despite being housed on the E3 website, it appears that the list is from 2020 – before last year’s event was cancelled. The only officially confirmed companies remain what was announced in the press release from this month. We’ll let you know when additional companies have been officially confirmed.


Original: E3 2021 was officially announced earlier this month. A few companies confirmed their participation, including Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros, and Koch Media.

The lineup of representatives was recently updated, and it features some notable names. Bandai Namco, Deep Silver, GungHo Online Entertainment America, Limited Run Games, SEGA, Square Enix, THQ Nordic, and XSEED Games are among the additions.

Deathsmiles I & II

Last year, City Connection and Cave Interactive announced Deathsmiles I & II for Switch. A follow-up report was shared today. Deathsmiles I & II is now confirmed for a December 16 launch in Japan.

Shadow Man Remastered

Nightdive Studios has released a new trailer for Shadowman Remastered, a redone version of the action-adventure game from the N64 era. Watch it below.

Castaway Paradise

The sandbox sim Castaway Paradise was confirmed for Switch back in February, and we now have a release date. A listing has appeared on the eShop with an April 29 release date.

Klabater and Inverge Studios surprised Switch owners this week by shadowdropping the 3D action-adventure game Effie on the Switch eShop this week. For a look at some footage, view the video below.
