LEGO Super Mario

LEGO Super Mario aims to translate some of the mechanics from the classic games. There are some elements of the series that didn’t make the cut though, like when players die in a level from failing.

LEGO design head Jonathan Bennink spoke about why the team decided to leave that element out in an interview with The Verge. Nintendo actually helped lead the team in that direction as the company’s Takahashi Tezuka said if Mario is happy, then players will be as well.

Splatoon 2

Nintendo has announced that another update for Splatoon 2 will be released later today. Version 5.2.1 should address a couple of issues.

First up, Nintendo is tackling a bug in which a Dualie could cause you to move farther in midair. It’ll also address a bug in which using a Booyah Bomb and throwing it immediately causes you to land in the wrong place.

The My Nintendo Store has updated in Europe, and is now offering some neat physical rewards. You can now get your hands on themed Hanafuda and playing card sets – while supplies last, of course.

There are a number of sets to choose from, including Zelda, Mario, Kirby, and Splatoon. For the full lineup, head on over here.

Nintendo has just released another Feh Channel presentation for Fire Emblem Heroes. Today’s video covers the latest summoning event, Call of the Sea event series, Resonant Battles, and Auto-Dispatch for Aether Raids. Check out the full presentation below.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available for mobile on both iOS and Android.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated launches for Switch on June 23.

IGN has a new video up showcasing 8 minutes of footage from the action-platformer 30XX. Check out the gameplay below.

30XX doesn’t have a release window currently, so stay tuned for further updates.

Fight Crab

Playism and Calappa Games have shared a new trailer for the 3D action title Fight Crab focusing on the game’s weapons. Give it a look below.

Fight Crab seems to be coming to Switch in August. A physical version is also planned.

GungHo Online Entertainment has put out the official launch trailer for its Switch exclusive Ninjala. Have a look at the video below.

Ninjala is due out for Switch via the eShop on June 24.
