CFK will release the puzzle-action game Monochrome World on Switch next month, the company announced today. A digital release is set for May 7 on the eShop.

Here’s an overview of the game, along with a trailer:

Ryoma: Peerless Samurai and Sakura: Loving Priestess are featured in Fire Emblem Heroes as part of a Bound Hero Battle. Both characters are waiting in Special Maps. On top of that, these two characters along with Hinoka: Warrior Princess are involved in a 5-star summoning focus.

The eighth Grand Hero Battle Revival is also live, featuring Naesala: Sky’s Shadow. It’s accompanied by some limited-time quests.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has the early word on the latest Arcade Archives game for Switch. As stated in the magazine, Hamster will release Tube Panic worldwide on April 23.

Tube Panic first debuted in 1984. Nichibutsu’s shoot ’em up adopts a 3D look of sorts and has players taking down enemies in tubular vortex levels.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Tube Panic is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

According to this week’s issue of Famitsu, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 1 & 2 will be released on Switch. The package of visual novels will launch in Japan this summer.

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 1 & 2 supports single Joy-Con play in addition to the touchscreen. A function will also be included that disables Switch’s automatic sleep settings during Auto Mode and movie playback, Famitsu confirms.

Splatoon 2 Splatfest - mayo vs. ketchup

Splatoon 2 was thought to be finished with Splatfest last July. However, Nintendo has just announced that it will hold a bonus one-off event next month.

The returning theme is mayonnaise vs. ketchup, which Nintendo says it was “so contentious that we have to do it twice”. It’ll be up and running on May 22 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET. Like previous Splatfests, you can participate for full two days.

The previously-announced 5.2.0 update for Splatoon 2 is out now. As previously mentioned, it includes a bunch of weapon changes.

A new demo has also been announced, which will be offered between April 29 and May 6. Users can access Turf War, Ranked Battle, and even Salmon Run. Those who download the demo can play online with players who own the full game. Finally, Splatoon 2 will be sold at a discounted price on the eShop during the duration of the demo, and a free 7-day trial of Nintendo Switch Online will also be available.

Nintendo will host a new Spirit Board event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that will add spirits from Trials of Mana, the company has announced. Three will be up for grabs in total.

The new event goes live on April 24, tying in with the release of Trials of Mana on Switch. It’ll last for five days.
