Strictly Limited Games has announced that it will soon be offering a physical copy of Velocity 2X for Switch. A standard release is planned as well as a collector’s edition, though the contents of the latter has yet to be detailed.

Fans will be able to place an order for Velocity 2X’s physical version this Sunday. There will only be 1,500 copies of the collector’s edition and another 2,500 copies for the standard release.

During today’s “Dragon Quest XI S Channel: Cast Announcement Feature #1” live stream, Square Enix revealed another set of actors for the Switch RPG.

Nintendo first announced Metroid Prime 4 at E3 2017, but we haven’t seen the game since then. Unfortunately, it sounds like it’ll be quite a bit longer before it reemerges.

Nintendo’s Shinya Takahashi provided a status update on the project today, revealing that “development progress has not reached the standards we seek in a sequel to the Metroid Prime series.” He added that “the current development status of the game is very challenged, and we had to make a difficult decision as a development team.” Nintendo is now changing the development structure.

Update: Umihara Kawase Fresh! has been confirmed for an April 25th release in the west as well.

Success Corporation has set a release date for Umihara Kawase Fresh! In Japan at least, the title is slated for April 25. It will be sold physically and digitally.

There are also plans to distribute Umihara Kawase Fresh! outside of Japan. However, a release date has not yet been announced.

Compile Heart has readied a new trailer for Moero Chronicle H, which arrives on the Japanese Switch eShop next week. You can find it below.

Battlloon was announced for Switch at BitSummit last May. Famitsu provides an update on the project this week, and more specifically, a release date. It’s due out via the eShop on February 28.

For those who missed our previous coverage, Battlloon is an action game that supports up to four players locally. Players battle it out against others by fighting and bumping into each other as balloons.
