Why Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is releasing in the west

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a notable entry in the franchise. For the first time, Bandai Namco is bringing a game in the sub-series west. North America and Europe will both be getting it on April 5, which matches up with the timing of the Japanese launch.
Masayuki Hirano, who is worked on the Dragon Ball game franchise, spoke about the decision to offer Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission in the west during the Dragon Ball Games – Super Showcase earlier this week. He noted the following:

Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster listed as a separate download on Switch

Those who are interested in the physical version of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster may want to keep something in mind. Over on the European Square Enix store, the second game is listed as a separate download. The page states that Final Fantasy X HD Remaster is “available on game card” while Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster “is download only.” It sounds like the package will include a voucher to obtain the second title digitally.
Square Enix actually did something similar for the PS Vita version of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster. The first game was playable on the cartridge, but X-2 required a separate download.
Note, however, that official plans for the Switch release have not been officially announced, so there’s a small possibility that what’s mentioned on the store is inaccurate. We’ll try to get an official comment from Square Enix about the situation.

Last week, we posted a translation of a column from Sonic the Hedgehog series sound designer Tomoya Ohtani in which he spoke about working on some Splatoon music from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sonic Team sound director Jun Senoue had his own contribution having worked on a new Mega Man 4 medley.
Why did Senoue go with Mega Man for his music piece? He discussed that and more in his own column, which we now have a translation of as well. You can read it in full below.

Xenoblade 2 Official Artworks Alrest Record pre-orders open

Announced earlier this week, the Xenoblade 2 Official Artworks Alrest Record is releasing in Japan in the very near future. The book spans over 300 pages, covering the main game and the Torna expansion. Fans will be able to pour over concept art for the characters, Blades, enemies, weapons, items, landscapes, and more.
Play-Asia has opened pre-orders for the Xenoblade 2 Official Artworks Alrest Record here. It’s due out on February 2 in Japan. Currently, a release in the west has not been announced.
Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be sold physically in Europe

We’ve seen some folks asking about the status of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age in Europe. Fortunately, just like in North America and Japan, both will be seeing a physical release in the region. Amazon UK actually started taking pre-orders for both this week here.
Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster launches for Switch on April 16. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age follows on April 30.
