Square Enix has a new Final Fantasy trailer available that highlights some of the entries in the series for Switch. Find a rundown of the different titles below, along with the video.

Sabotage has provided an update on The Messenger’s new DLC, Picnic Panic. The additional content, which “promises to deliver on a fantastic new standalone storyline and a handful of new levels spreading across Voodkin Island”, will be arriving this summer. As previously announced, it will be entirely free.

Fortnite updated to version 8.10 today. Buried in the patch notes is an interesting tidbit about a change to matchmatching.

According to Epic, Switch and mobile pools have been combined. This is much different compared to how the game handled things previously in which Switch players were combined with Xbox One and PS4 cross-play parties. Epic says it expects “an on-average better per-game experience” for Switch as well as mobile users.

Hero Concept has announced Doughlings: Invasion, a follow-up to Doughlings: Arcade and a new arcade shooter for Switch. A release is planned for this spring.

Hollow Knight was originally going to be receiving a physical version through Skybound Games. That didn’t happen in the end, but the game will be sold at retail after all.
