Ubisoft and Nintendo really jumpstarted their relationship with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Nintendo lent its most popular character for the Switch game, and after the collaboration went well, it even led to Star Fox representation in Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

Fans are starting to wonder even more about a possible Mario + Rabbids sequel or other collaborations due to some news that is spreading around today. Ubisoft has been sending out emails to certain folks in France that asks about a variety of Mario characters and their opinions of them. These include Daisy, Bowser and Bowser Jr., Waluigi, and more.

The well-received survival series Amnesia may end up on Switch. Speaking with GameSpot, creative director Thomas Grip expressed strong interest in making it happen. The team is currently “looking into it” and Grip “would love to do Switch content.”

Grip stated:

Destruction is coming to Switch, according to the latest issue of Famitsu. A release is planned for this fall in Japan, though it should be distributed in other territories as well.

Destruction for Switch appears to be based on Rising Win Tech’s mobile game. The developer was also behind the Switch title Defoliation.

Atlus prepared the first English trailer for Etrian Odyssey Nexus, which launches in the west on February 5. View it below.

The Darkside Detective: Season 2

Earlier this year, The Darkside Detective: Season 2 made it to Switch. Spooky Doorway recently took to Kickstarter in hopes of funding a second season, and the goal was just recently met. It’s targeted for release in Q1 2020.

Continuing on the success of its predecessor, The Darkside Detective: Season 2 will again be a micro-adventure game with investigations. Find an overview below, along with a trailer.

Sengoku Cannon

The Japanese eShop has updated with the latest game from Zerodiv. Next week in Japan, Sengoku Cannon (Sengoku Ace Episode III) will be available.

Sengoku Cannon is a part of the Sengoku Blade franchise. The horizontal shooter originally launched for the PSP back in 2005.

Zerodiv is bringing Sengoku Cannon to Switch on October 18 for 864 yen. Only Japanese is supported, but given the company’s past titles, it’s likely just a matter of time until we see a western release.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers

GameMill Entertainment has announced that Nickelodeon Kart Racers has gone gold and is now in manufacturing. Furthermore, we have a final release date.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers arrives in North America on October 23. It’ll be out in PAL regions on October 26. Pricing is set at $39.99 / £29.99 / €39.99.

Circle Entertainment has announced that it will publish the yeo-developed game The friends of Ringo Ishikawa on Switch. A release window has yet to be confirmed.

The friends of Ringo Ishikawa “is a beat ’em up experience combined with imaginative storytelling, fun minigames, retro-style visuals and a funky soundtrack.” It takes place duing the final year at high school in a Japanese town and based around gangs and delinquent life. Developer yeo says it’s an “existential open world beat’em up with some school sim elements”.

The Pokemon Company uploaded a few new gameplay clips for Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee. Find the full set of videos below.
