Nintendo has announced a partnership with Wendy’s College Tailgate Tour to bring Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to college campuses across the United States this fall. Fans will be able to play the upcoming release with gameplay stations and a large LED screen.

The Warlock of Firetop Mountain: Goblin Scourge Edition! will be available to purchase from the Switch eShop starting tomorrow. Get a look at some gameplay footage below.

At EGX 2018 next weekend, several upcoming indie games will be playable on Switch. These include Travis Strikes Again, Wargroove, Windjammers Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, and more.

As provided by Nintendo, the full lineup is as follows:


Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is on the way to Switch, Nintendo has revealed. The game will be seeing its playable debut at EGX 2018 next weekend.

With Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath making it to Switch, it’s the first time it’ll be appearing on a Nintendo platform. Xbox had it originally, and a new release took place on various platforms a few years later, but never on Wii U.

Nintendo has posted another update to the Smash Bros. Blog for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, we have an introduction to the Summit stage.

Time Carnage

Time Carnage is out today on Switch, and Wales Interactive has readied a new video to celebrate. Have a look at the launch trailer below.

Atlus issued another trailer for Persona Q2, this time focusing on Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5. You can view it below.

Chrom: Exalted Prince and Lissa: Sprightly Cleric have returned in Special Maps for a Bound Hero Battle Revival. Players can tackle Hard or Infernal difficulties for a true challenge. Limited time quests are also available.

Bound Hero Battle: Chrom & Lissa will be running until September 20.

Thousand Games has announced that a prototype of the new game Synaptic Drive will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show next week. It’s being directed by Kouji Kenjo, who was a producer on Custom Robo.

Synaptic Drive is a competitive, strategic 3D shooter. Players are able to choose from a variety of characters, weapons, and settings. Thousand Games hopes to make “a game of a high enough quality to be chosen for eSports competitions” and is “currently looking for publishers and business partners”.
