According to the latest issue of Weekly Jump, the Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition is coming to Japan. The hardware will be available on July 7 for 7,980 yen.

Fire Emblem Heroes – Genealogy summoning focus now live

Announced earlier in the week, players can now partake in the new Genealogy summoning focus for Fire Emblem Heroes. This will be going on until May 21.
As the name implies, the latest summoning event features characters from Genealogy of the Holy War. You can obtain Ares: Black Knight, Lene: Yearning Dancer, and Ishtar: Thunder Goddess as part of a 5-star summoning focus. They’re also appearing in a story map, and related limited-time special quests are available.
Warriors Orochi 4 confirmed for the west, official details and screenshots

Koei Tecmo has opened the official website for Warriors Orochi 4. Thanks to that, we have confirmation that the Switch version will be releasing in both North America and Europe in addition to Japan.

Idea Factory has gone live with a trailer promoting its upcoming otome visual novel for Switch.
In total, twelve releases are on the way. These include Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden, Code: Realize, Nil Admirari no Tenbin: Irodori Nadeshiko, Cendrillon palikA, Shiritsu Verbara Gakuen: Versailles no Bara Re*imagination, Norn9: Norn + Nonette LOFN, Amnesia, Reine des Fleurs, Birushanah Senki: Genpeiden, Sengoku Night Blood, LoverPretend, and a new Hakuoki entry.

Rumor: Nintendo software engineer indicates Bandai Namco working on Smash Bros. Switch

Tiago Sonobe worked at Bandai Namco between April 2014 and August 2016 as a software engineer and graphics programmer. That same month, he moved over to Nintendo – also as a software engineer.
Sonobe’s work history is notable due to an apparent tweet which has now been deleted (and his account as well). In his message, Sonobe mentions that he left Bandai Namco before the production on Smash Bros. Switch started. However, he further says he created the rendering engine it’s built on.
