Pokken Tournament DX

Pokken Tournament DX’s new update has gone live. Version 1.2.0 has just started distribution.

Oddly, Nintendo’s patch notes only make mention of a couple of things. Compatibility with Battle Pack Wave 1 has been added, along with support for video capture.

At least for now, the patch notes don’t cover any of the many balance changes. We’ll add them in here if Nintendo shares the details, but for the time being, we’ve included the unofficial translation below.

The latest episode of Nintendo’s Japanese show Nyannyan Neko Mario Time has now gone live. We’ve included it below.

Nintendo just published a new Japanese trailer for Bayonetta 1 and 2 on Switch. Find the video attached below.

Siegecraft Commander

Initially released last year, Siegecraft Commander is now making its way to Switch. Blowfish Studios shared the news on Twitter by posting a photo of the game running on the system.

Siegecraft Commander is a real-time strategy game. A single-player campaign is included, but local hot-seat and online multiplayer are also supported.

We have some additional details and a trailer for Siegecraft Commander below.

Update: Bumped to the top. Though the rumor itself still stands, a new Sonic karting game has been ruled out for now. Aaron Webber from SEGA’s social media and PR ruled that out on Twitter:

Original: Sumo Digital has worked on two Sonic kart racers for SEGA. Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing launched in 2010, followed by Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed a couple of years later. A third entry could now be a possibility.

Slides from a supposed Sumo presentation have apparently leaked online. One page covers project in development at the studio, including an unannounced karting game based on an “established global IP”.

GameStop once again has the Super NES Classic Edition in stock. If you’d like to place an order, you can do so here. The SNES Classic Edition has slowly started to become more widely available, so we’re hoping this will last for more than a few minutes.

Also, while we generally don’t post about these kinds of refurbished products, GameStop is selling refurbished NES Classic Edition units here. Just keep in mind they aren’t new – they’ve been cleaned up from those who owned them previously.

If you’re interested in watching video content on Switch, you don’t have a whole lot of options at present. But there is Hulu, as the app started distribution last November.

As part of a new Reddit AMA, SVP of Experience at Hulu Ben Smith commented on bringing the service to Switch. One interesting point mentioned is that the company is looking into adding touch support, which is something users have requested.
