Hex Gambit is in development for Switch, One Man Left Studios has announced. The developer says the platform “is a perfect fit for our multiplayer focus, allowing you to easily gather friends around the TV for a couple of matches, or knock out a few turns while you’re out doing your thing.”
One Man Left Studios will be starting a Kickstarter campaign in August. Switch will be included as a reward option for backers.

PlatinumGames has opened a brand new Twitter account for its Japanese fans. To celebrate, Yusuke Hashimoto drew new Bayonetta art. Hashimoto is not only the director of Bayonetta 2, but also the producer on the series’ first game.
Based on the art and activity on the Twitter page, fans are speculating about Platinum’s potential plans for Switch. Some believe that the red and blue colors are a reference to the Joy-Con controllers. Platinum liked a tweet about the connection… and some other messages about Bayonetta and Switch.
Of course, this could very well amount to nothing. We do know though that Platinum is involved with Switch in some fashion.

The Alliance Alive sold through 70% of its initial shipment in Japan
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 5 Comments
In its first week in Japan, The Alliance Alive sold around 25,000 – 30,000 copies. That may not seem like a lot, but FuRyu had realistic expectations. The RPG wasn’t overshipped as Dengeki reports that The Alliance Alive sold through 70 percent of its initial shipment.
The Legend of Legacy, FuRyu’s last 3DS RPG, saw first week sales of 53,974. It also sold through 83 percent of its initial shipment. The Alliance Alive has sold less so far, but it could have longer legs as the player reception has been more favorable this time around.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology wasn’t originally going to be on 3DS, sample image
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 34 Comments
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology wasn’t always intended for 3DS. In the art book included with the game’s special Perfect Edition in Japan, Atlus reveals an interesting piece of news about the development process.
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology was initially intended for “another handheld device”. However, director Mitsuru Hirata became too busy working on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and the project was suspended. After the Wii U project wrapped up, Atlus turned its attention back to Radiant Historia, but the market ratio between 3DS and the other unnamed device was too significant when the project rebooted. Radiant Historia shifted to 3DS as a result.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild player clips through wall, stumbles into strange area
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch, Wii U | 7 Comments
While playing through the Trial of the Sword challenge featured in Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s new DLC, Sharkystheshotty stumbled into a bizarre area. He managed to enter this strange section of the world by clipping through a wall.
As for how he did it, Sharkystheshotty said the following:
“Was on trial three on the Medium trials and flew up near the chest on the floating platform and just went through a wall. Couldn’t get back in.. so I didn’t make it.
I don’t really remember exactly where but I flew up with my glider on trial 3 on the Medium trials near where the floating chest was on the wall by the corner. Best I can do.”
We’re not really sure where Sharkystheshotty ended up. It could be a test area, unused material, or something else entirely. Regardless, it’s certainly an odd sight to behold.
Neptunia producer wants to know if fans would be interested in seeing the series on Switch

Idea Factory and Compile Heart have yet to release any entry in the Neptunia series on a Nintendo platform. In the future though, perhaps that could change.
Neptunia producer Naoko Mizuno was asked about the possibility of the franchise appearing on Switch. Mizuno said in response, “It would be great if we hear feedback from our fans letting us know if they’d like to see Neptunia on the Switch, then it might be realized.”
