Nintendo began its mobile efforts earlier this year with its first app Miitomo. And just last week, the company’s first true game arrived on the Apple Store – Super Mario Run.

Speaking with Kyoto Shimbun, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima talked a bit more about the company’s mobile plans. He said that, starting in 2017, they hope to bring out two or three mobile games each year.

The first actual footage from 80s Overdrive has finally been shown. It may only last for just over a minute, but we’re able to really see the racer in action – snazzy music and all.

Here’s the clip:

As for when we’ll be seeing 80s Overdrive on the eShop, we sadly still have a long ways to go. The developer mentioned on Twitter that the game is targeted for Q1 / Q2 2017.

We first heard about plans for a figma of Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates at WonderCon Festival a few months ago. Seemingly from some sort of scan, the first image is attached above.

Corrin’s figma has not yet been dated. Max Factory will presumably have it ready sometime in mid to late 2017.

A Twitter message reveals that Piggyback is working with Nintendo on a guide for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For the time being, we only have the image above to share – which shows that it’s shaping up quite nice so far. If we hear anything else about the guide, we’ll let you know.

Having previously made Collateral Thinking for Wii U, Astrosaurus Games is now setting its sights on another eShop project. Developer Neil Armstrong told 4colorrebellion that a title involving puzzles known as “Ruff Copy” is in the works. In it, “you play as a disgruntled worker at a dog-cloning factory that is trying to help all of the dogs escape their test chamber prisons with nothing but a laser pointer.”

Armstrong is also considering Mage Boy and Dash Assault for Wii U. The former was created at GBJam and would be adapted for Nintendo’s console while the latter is a party platformer.

Pokemon GO is out now for Apple Watch. Folks who are interested in this new version of the game can find it in the App Store.

When playing on Apple Watch, you’ll receive a notification when a Pokemon is nearby. You can also earn steps for buddy Pokemon and incubating eggs. Apple Watch also lets you collect items and obtain information about a PokeStop or hatched egg. However, catching Pokemon needs to be done on a mobile device.
