The latest episode of Pokemon Generations is now live on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. We’ve gone ahead and attached it below.

Pokemon Generations revisits each generation of the Pokemon games and sheds new light on some timeless moments. New episodes will be available weekly through December 23.

Rumors about Switch featuring motion controls have been swirling even before Nintendo properly announced the system last month. Now a comment made by GameStop CEO Paul Raines further suggests that the functionality will be included.

Speaking during GameStop’s financial call yesterday about how Switch could expand the gaming audience like Wii, Raines said: “A movement-related game is more fun for kids, you know, taking those accessories off – [the detachable Joy-Con pads] – you can really do a lot of interesting things with that in gameplay.”

Again, talk about motion controls – in one form or another – isn’t entirely new in terms of what we’ve been hearing from the rumor mill. It is interesting though that Raines is further hinting at it being included.

To celebrate the release of Pokemon Sun/Moon in Europe, Nintendo released a special 2DS system featuring Pikachu on the front and the three starters on the back. Take a look at an unboxing video below which also shows off the Fan Editions again.

Yet another Pokemon Sun/Moon bundle has popped up, this time at Walmart. Packages containing a bonus Legendary Pokemon figure are available. 3DS owners can nab the Sun version with Solgaleo here and the Lunala version with Lunala here.

Natsume said it would be restocking the River City: Tokyo Rumble with Limited Edition Kunio Keychain this month, and now the publisher has followed through on that. It’s back up on Amazon here. Orders can be placed now, but the item ships on November 29. Also note that this will be the final restock of the bundle.

Most retailers don’t actually know when Switch is releasing or how much it’ll cost, but UK retailer GameSeek is giving consumers a guarantee. You can reserve the console on its website for £198.50. GameSeek says that if the price increases between the time an order is placed and the release date, you’ll be charged the lower price.

The GameSeek listing also mentions a March 17 release date. Whether or not that’s reliable remains to be seen.

We’ve mentioned the Fire Emblem Fates Camilla figure here on the site several times. The 1/7th scale creation had direct involvement from the game’s creator, Intelligent Systems.

Here’s a description:

“A figure project co-developed by the developer of the Fire Emblem series, ‘INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS’ and monolith! From the popular game ‘Fire Emblem Fates’ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the beautiful princess of the Kingdom of Nohr, Camilla! The figure is sculpted by the highly acclaimed figure artisan Hiro and manufactured by Good Smile Company.
The figure captures Camilla’s persona with a noble, elegant appearance that still shows off her sexy side, with her hair making use of translucent parts to preserve its unique appearance. The ‘Silver Axe’ she has by her side has been based directly on the original designs from the game, and she comes complete with a special base made in the image of a marble pillar that brings out her beauty together with the atmosphere of the series.

The figure has been closely supervised by the game’s development team from the initial planning stages to the final paintwork to make it the ultimate official figure of Camilla! Be sure to add her to your collection and enjoy Camilla’s amazing design right by your side!”

Pre-orders for the figure are now starting to go live. It’s up on Play-Asia, GoodSmile, and AmiAmi. It’s estimated to ship in September 2017, though it seems like you’ll need to get in a reservation before the January deadline.

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Momotaro Dentetsu 2017: Tachiagare Nippon!!, Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, The Alliance Alive, RPG Maker Fes, and Monster Hunter Stories. Scans of all titles can be found below.

Each time Xbox boss Phil Spencer is asked about Nintendo, he offers nothing but praise for the company. That was no different when AusGamers recently sent a question his way about the big N.

Spencer actually started out by mentioning how he’d “love to see Mario on Xbox.” He also believes “Nintendo has the strongest first-party of anybody”. Spencer later added, “they’ve been incredibly important for the games industry, they do a great job with younger audiences, and if we ever had a chance to work with them in the future, I would absolutely do it.”

When asked if seeing Nintendo franchises on Xbox was something the team could look at seriously, Spencer fully stated:

Much has been made of a presentation slide GameStop included in its latest financial presentation. In it, Zelda: Breath of the Wild is shown to be planned for Q1 2017. Some have taken this as a hint that the game would be out in close to Switch’s launch.

Meanwhile, Laura Kate Dale has posted a new rumor in which she claims that Nintendo is targeting a mid-June launch for Breath of the Wild in the UK, which would almost certainly go along with a worldwide launch. The company is “internally aiming” to get the Switch version out on June 16 and June 23 on Wii U.

Separately from Zelda, Dale says the Switch port for Xenoblade Chronicles X is not being handled by Monolith Soft. Instead, a porting agency has been brought in similar to Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on New 3DS. Monolith is “working on something new ground up for Switch,” which we won’t see until 2018 at the earliest.
