Following a Nintendo Direct last September, Arc System Works’ Sabaku no Nezumidan landed on the Japanese 3DS eShop. Now it’s heading west.
According to a listing on Nintendo’s website, Sabaku no Nezumidan has been localized under the name “Of Mice And Sand”. Circle Entertainment is putting it out in North America this coming Thursday, June 1. Pricing is set at $7.99.
Here’s a brief overview:
“By ordering the mice crew living in the Desert ship, you can build facilities on the ship and make food for breeding the mice with various items. With the development of the ship, more mice will join in and they can accomplish more jobs. Don’t let them starve and make them rich.
Your final goal is to reach the other side of the desert and find the legendary land of gold to the east, El Dorado!”

ARMS Global Testpunch – “Warm-Up” practice mode can be played outside of event times with a trick
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
The ARMS Global Testpunch demo is mostly nonfunctional outside of active hours. Yet Reddit user NefariousSquid discovered one way that you can continue playing the “Warm-Up” practice mode even when the servers are down.
Assuming you already have save data where you’ve progressed past the tutorial, simply follow these steps:
- On your Nintendo Switch, go to System Settings -> Internet -> Internet Settings -> [your network] -> Change Settings.
- Enable proxy settings, and change the server address to
1.1.1.1(or some other fake address). - Save, then open the ARMS Global Testpunch.
- Select Party Match, select a character, then go to Warm-Up.
After 2 minutes and 30 seconds, you’ll receive an error message. It’s fine though, since you can just go right back in and continue practicing.

YouTube Wii support ends at the end of June

Support for the YouTube app on Wii is ending in the near future. An official notice states that after June 30, users will be on their own, but can still access YouTube “in many other ways.”
Frankly, it’s surprising to see that support lasted as long as it did. Nintendo has created two new consoles since the Wii after all.

This week, Nikkei published a new interview with Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino. It included talk pertaining to topics such as The Snack World and Inazuma Eleven, but also the state of the Yo-kai Watch franchise.
Nikkei pointed out that Yo-kai Watch 3 has sold over two million sales across three entries – Sushi, Tempura, and Sukiyaki. Hino noted that he can’t deny it has fallen much compared to the times of Yo-kai Watch 2, which launched in Japan three years ago. Sales of related products are also accompanying it – think toys, etc.
