Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters is set for December 1 in Japan, Bandai Namco announced today. It’ll cost 5,700 yen at retail, while the eShop version will be sold at a discounted price of 5,130 yen until December 28. Those who pre-order the game at shops between October 8 and October 24 will be given a Super Rare Special Appmon Chip, “Onmon.”

Ahead of Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, fans will be able to download the free-to-play Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Cyber Arena from the eShop. The download, slated for September 21, allows save data to be transferred to the full version. Appmon Chips work as well.

A few minutes of footage has come in for Grand Prix Rock ‘N Racing, which is out on the Wii U eShop today. See the gameplay below.

Today, Capcom announced that its IC Card-based 3DS game will release in Japan on December 8. It will be free-to-play with item-based micro-transactions. Capcom is also planning a 5,800 yen Collector’s Package and 9,800 yen Complete Edition special editions.

We have a couple of non-gaming updates pertaining to Pokemon Sun/Moon. Today’s news concerns the new anime and manga.

The Pokemon Sun/Moon is debuting in November. We’ve included a preview trailer below.

As for the manga, we now know that the name is Pokemon Horizon. Serialization kicks off in the latest issue of CoroCoro. It’s penned by Tenya Yabuno, who previously worked on Digimon V-Tamer and the Inazuma Eleven manga.

In celebration of the 2016 Tokyo Game Show, the first trailer is in for SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage. Watch it below.

SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage launches in Japan on December 22. Sonic the Hedgehog 2, After Burner II, Super Hang-On, Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, and Turbo Outrun are confirmed for the package.

At the Tokyo Game Show today, Flyhigh Works and Skipmore announced Picontier, a new title planned for 3DS. Circle Entertainment will publish the game in the west.

Picontier is described as a “slow living miniscape RPG”. We’ve posted the first trailer below.
