The Game Awards 2016 – AM2R, Pokemon Uranium removed as nominees for “Best Fan Creation”
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 105 Comments
AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) and Pokemon Uranium were both nominated as “Best Fan Creation” for The Game Awards 2016. Strangely, both are now missing. Brutal Doom 64 and Enderal: The Shards of Order are now the only two projects remaining in the category.
Given how AM2R and Pokemon Uranium were both Nintendo-made fan creations, the big N may have played a role in their removal from The Game Awards. The company went after both pretty heavily earlier this year.
