Warner Bros. Interactive released a final trailer for LEGO Jurassic World, which launches today. Check it out below.

A few details were posted on the Mighty No. 9 website in an update shared yesterday. Based on one of the things listed – at least for the Wii U version – it sounded like there were no plans for Miiverse support.

The official Mighty No. 9 Twitter account has since clarified the situation. While the game itself won’t have any special Miiverse integration, there are still plans to add a Mighty No. 9 community to the social network.

Mighty No. 9 launches on September 15 for Wii U. The 3DS version will release a bit further down the line.

NPD published its latest software chart based on data collected throughout May on the U.S. market. As Splatoon launched on May 29, it just managed to sneak its way into the reporting period.

Splatoon managed to take the fifth spot in NPD’s chart for May. But the big question is, how many copies did the game actually sell?

NPD hasn’t provided specific numbers in ages, and Nintendo did not send out a response to the May report. But thankfully, well-known sales leaker “creamsugar” has come through with data. creamsugar says that Splatoon sold 136,000 copies in May, which is based on just two days of sales.

Splatoon’s U.S. debut is fairly similar to its performance in Japan. Through four days, the title sold 145,000 units on the Japanese market.

Masahiro Sakurai’s latest Famitsu column has now been translated in full. Two big topics were addressed in his piece: those who say Sakurai has a bias for certain characters, and overall game balance.

Continue on below to check out the column transcript. The full translation comes courtesy of Source Gaming.

When it comes to Smash, every once in a while people will wrongly direct their anger towards me. They accuse me of things such as giving preference or strength to the characters that I’ve worked on in the past—in other words, the Kirby and Kid Icarus series characters. Oh my.

However, if I had worked on the Mario series, people would say, “You’re favoring Mario too much,” wouldn’t they? The same would hold true for Fire Emblem, Pokémon or Starfox. The truth is, though, I put a lot of work into all the characters. It’s a mix of labor, love, and fine tuning.
