Gotcha Racing hitting the North American 3DS eShop next week

On its Twitter account, Natsume confirmed that Gotcha Racing is slated for the North American 3DS eShop next week. It will be available starting on August 27.
Natsume posted the following message a few minutes ago:

Project X Zone 2 screenshots show off the latest characters

Famitsu has posted a new online preview for Project X Zone 2. The screenshots show Namco x Capcom antagonist Saya, new character Sheath, Sylphie from Forgotten Worlds, and Miyuki from Ordyne.
Also shown in the screenshots are some of the different systems. Primarily, Famitsu provides information about customization points, which are awarded after players clear battles. These points can be used to upgrade character skills by up to eight levels as well as introduce entirely new moves. Project X Zone 2 also features different skills that are automatically executed when certain conditions are met, which require customization points.
Year Walk devs on bringing the game to Wii U, future Nintendo interest

Simogo director Simon Flesser and Dakko Dakko lead Rhodri Broadbent have opened up about bringing Year Walk to Wii U. The two commented on the origins of the project, how the game is taking advantage of the console, and future interest in the eShop/Nintendo in general.

European Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson DLC schedule

Marvelous has announced the DLC schedule for Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson’s European release. Three “Additional Chapter” downloads are in the pipeline, along with one “Character” add-on.
The first piece of DLC is due out on August 27. This will add the character Murasame, which is free to those with Senran Kagura Burst save data. It’ll be sold for £4.49 / €4.99 otherwise.
“Waist Deep”, “Hipster”, and “Busticated” are the three new DLC chapters. Each one contains five missions, new weapons, illustrations, backgrounds, clothes, hairstyles, and more.
Below is an overview of the different chapters:
‘Waist Deep’ follows the hijinks of Mirai as she afflicts the SK girls with a certain “ailment” in her quest for a bigger bust – ‘Hipster’ looks to an alternate reality as Hanzo battle a world dominating HEBIJO in a bullet hell-like setting with a SENRAN KAGURA twist. Finally ‘Busticated’ follows Asuka and Mirai’s quest to achieve their most dream bust sizes, completion of this jovial story arc will reward you with a certain “modifier” in the Dressing Room!

How amiibo works in Picross 3D 2

Nintendo made the unexpected announcement last night that Picross 3D 2 is in development for 3DS, with a planned Japanese release for October. We heard that the title would be incorporating amiibo, and an Amazon Japan listing shares more details on this front.
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser, Link, Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede work with Picross 3D 2. By using any of these amiibo into the game, players can unlock original puzzles. The screenshot above shows what the Mario puzzle looks like.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD details cover the Rune Knight, Fortuner, Mage, and Punisher classes

SEGA’s latest update on 7th Dragon III Code: VFD covers a number of the game’s classes. We now have details for the Rune Knight, Fortuner, Mage, and Punisher. View the information rounded up below.
Rune Knight:
– Magic swordsmen
– Rune Knights use small knives that goes with elemental and different effect-based attacks
– They can heal themselves and have skills that can heal the entire party or protect allies from enemy attacks
– “Knight’s Pride”: does a physical non-elemental attack to an enemy, and the damage is determined by how much damage they took prior to getting knocked out
– This move automatically activates when a Rune Knight’s health goes to 0
– “Brave Sword”: massive close-ranged magic damage to all enemies
– Brave Sword causes the user’s health go to half
– The more health that gets depleted from this skill, the more damage it will do
Fortuner:
– Fortunetellers of the battlefield
– Specialize in putting enemies in abnormal states
– Their skills can do even more damage against enemies that are under a status ailment
– Fortuner’s have slightly lower health/defense
– “Poem of Wind and Tree”: regenerate each turn for all party members by using mana
– “Sacrifice”: consumes a massive amount of MP in order to launch a powerful magic attack that hits all enemies
– This attack is so powerful, the user will withdraw from the after after landing the hit
Mage:
– Magic specialists
– They can use magic attacks of various attributes
– Mages can even support the party with healing magic
– Weakness is their low defense stat
– “Volcano”: long-ranged fire magic damage to all enemies, and gives them a “burn” affect
– “Mana Bullet”: long-ranged magic attack that deals big damage to all enemies
Punisher:
– Use a hybrid weapon called “Armored Spear”
– This is a mix between a giant spear and mortar
– Punishers have the best physical damage of all classes and the most amount of health
– “Explosives” are needed for their powerful attacks
– You’ll need to supplement it if you use too much
– “Assault Spear: selects a group of enemies and launches a powerful close-ranged attack
– This requires mana and Explosives to use
– “Dragon Buster”: long-ranged fire attribute damage to all enemies from a mortar shot
– This does extra damage against dragons, and it also consumes mana and Explosives

Octodad: Dadliest Catch nearly ready to launch on Wii U

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is almost ready to arrive on Wii U. IGN reports that work on the port is finished, and it’s now with Nintendo for certification.
It’s sounding like Octodad: Dadliest Catch will cost $14.99 at launch. When Nintendo has signed off on the game, a final release date will be announced.
