Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures finally came to Wii U earlier this month after a considerably long wait. The 3DS version hasn’t launched yet, but that should be changing soon.

FreakZone’s Sam Beddoes has confirmed that Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures is finished and is currently going through the approval process.

He said:

The 3DS version has stereoscopic 3D, as well as some dual screen features, similar to the GamePad features on the Wii U. It’s all done and going through Nintendo’s approval process.

A new 3DS update is now available for download. Users can grab the latest firmware, version 9.7.0-25, by visiting the system settings.

There are no interesting features in today’s update, sadly! Of today’s upgrade, Nintendo simply says:

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.

As always, you’ll need today’s update before you can access the eShop.

Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- is officially heading west, courtesy of publisher Circle Entertainment. Nintendo’s website has the game listed for a release in North America on April 30. Pricing is set at $6.99.

Here’s the official overview for the game:

Two sisters escape their fate as research subjects and fight to survive using aircrafts of war.

Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- is a 3D vertical shoot ’em up game. This game allows players to design their own aircraft by letting them choose which weapons and items they take with them into battle.

The player’s aircraft can use shields, different shots, bombs, and swords. Each of these will also level up the more they’re used and increase in power. Additional weapons and items will unlock as the player progresses, as well.

Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- features over 100 missions to complete along with a number of achievements in addition to boss battles.

Unlike other, traditional shooting games, Karous’ mission system gives the player the freedom to follow multiple, branching paths which can lead to different endings.

Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- should be coming soon to Europe as well. Just last month, the title received a rating from PEGI.
