The Tale of Cloud and Wind, otherwise known as Water Margin: A Tale of Clouds and Wind, is about to make a comeback on Switch. A listing shows that the game is due out on December 22, 2022.

You may not have heard of it, but The Tale of Cloud and Wind was originally made by Never Ending Soft Team as an unlicensed title for the SEGA Genesis.

Square Enix started up a new Winter 2022 Switch eShop sale this week, and it features the lowest prices ever for Actraiser Renaissance, The DioField Chronicle, a couple of Voice of Cards games, and more. Fans can also save on popular franchises like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts (via the cloud).

2022 is just about over – aside from a couple of more weeks. But with the year drawing to a close, we’re interested in hearing about what your favorite game that released over the past twelve months.

Despite being in its fifth year, Switch still had much to offer. Looking strictly at what we saw from Nintendo, the company published Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Triangle Strategy, Nintendo Switch Sports, Kirby’s Dream Buffet, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Live A Live, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, and Pokemon Scarlet / Violet. Third-parties filled in with titles such as Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Digimon Survive, Shovel Knight Dig, Tinykin, Tunic, AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative, Sonic Frontiers, and Dragon Quest Treasures. We’d also be remiss if we didn’t mention ports such as Persona 5, NieR: Automata, Portal, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

Package Inc

Nerd Monkeys, in partnership with original developer Infinity Games, announced that it’s about to put Package Inc on Switch. The cargo simulator will be out on December 21, 2022.

You may have heard about Package Inc previously as it first appeared on mobile. In the game, players control an entire delivery system and are tasked with expanding and expediting the system they create. As the amount of clients they have increase, they’ll have to adapt – otherwise their delivery empire will crumble.
