Koei Tecmo updated the Japanese Hyrule Warriors Legends website with official screenshots of Skull Kid and Phantom Ganon. All of today’s images are in the gallery below.
Time-limited The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes demo coming to Japan

It seems like Nintendo is planning something similar to Splatoon’s Global Testfire for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. A few hours ago, some people who have a Japanese Nintendo Network ID received an e-mail from Nintendo containing three download codes for a special Tri Force Heroes demo. Those lucky enough to be selected can share those codes with two of their friends and play online together a specific times. The demo will be online at the following times:
- 10/10 23:00 – 24:00
- 10/11 10:00 – 11:00
- 10/17 23:00 – 24:00
- 10/18 10:00 – 11:00
We will keep you updated on further development, including a possible demo for European and North American audiences.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes gameplay with Eiji Aonuma

Earlier this year when The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D came out, Nintendo released several videos of series producer Eiji Aonuma playing the game and showcasing several aspects of it. Now they’re doing the same with Tri Force Heroes. Check out the video below (in Japanese, obviously):
Super Smash Bros update 1.1.2 out now

As we reported earlier this week, the 1.1.2 update for Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS fixes a glitch regarding Diddy that was introduced in the 1.1.1 update. The newest patch is now available for download. At 21 MB it’s fairly small, so the download shouldn’t take too long.

Learn about Skull Kid and Phantom Ganon in Hyrule Warriors Legends

Last week, the Japanese Hyrule Warriors Twitter account teased news about the upcoming 3DS game. Famitsu followed through by revealing a couple of new characters. We now know that Skull Kid will be playable, and Phantom Ganon will be appearing as a boss.
The mischievous imp Skull Kid uses an ocarina as his main tool. Famitsu describes him as a demon who stole the hero’s ocarina from a parallel world and then placed the curse of the mask upon him. He may be violent and love pranks, but deep in his heart he treasures his friends. Using the ocarina, he fights alongside fairies.

New Chibi-Robo! 3DS theme out now in Japan

A new 3DS theme based on Chibi-Robo! (and Famista) is available now in Japan. It’s priced at 200 yen, which should translate to $2 when released overseas. Those who purchase Chibi-Robo!: Zip Last on the European eShop will be able to receive the theme for free.
