If you’re looking for a way to reset the NES Classic Edition without having to press the button on the console itself, you might be pleased to hear that the Wii Classic Controller offers this functionality. Simply press the home button to do so. GameXplain shows it in action in the video below.

The NES Classic Edition went on sale across Australia today. By all accounts, it’s doing very well, and selling out at many stores.

It’ll be about a month from now when the NES Classic Edition receives its shipment in Australia. On Twitter, Nintendo said that more stock will be available in early December.

Earlier today, My Nintendo was updated with a number of new rewards on the North American website.

First, the Samus theme that previously came out in Europe and Japan is now live, costing 200 Platinum Points. The following discounts were also added:

– 30% off Super Metroid (New 3DS) – 20 Gold Points
– 30% off Metroid: Zero Mission (Wii U) – 20 Gold Points
– 20% off Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii U) – 400 Platinum Points

It’s also worth mentioning that the Ink Tank Miitomo reward has returned for 100 Platinum Points.

With the major Miitomo update Nintendo pushed out tonight, a trio of new missions have been added to My Nintendo. Users can earn up to 13 Miitomo/Platinum Points each day. Two missions provide five points, while the other awards three points.

The missions are as follows:

– 3 Miitomo/Platinum Points: Answer 1 question in Answer Central (daily)
– 5 Miitomo/Platinum Points: Post in Style Central (daily)
– 5 Miitomo/Platinum Points: Send a message to a friend in Miitomo (daily)

The NES Classic Edition website has been updated with manuals. For all thirty titles, you can access the printed versions as well as the new electronic manuals.

Aside from the games, a few manuals are up for the NES Classic Edition itself. You can read the start up instructions and use of the Home Menu for North America plus the Operations Manual for those in Europe/Australia/New Zealand.
