Earlier in the year, Raw Thrills brought Cruis’n Blast. Nintendo’s logo is featured on the arcade machine in part because the Cruis’n name was licensed from the Big N.

In a recent interview with Arcade Heroes, Raw Thrills CEO Eugene Jarvis spoke about the Nintendo side of things for Cruis’n Blast. On the topic of how involved Nintendo was in the process, Jarvis stated:

At almost every edition of The Game Awards, Nintendo has been involved in a big way. Aside from 2015, the company has always brought at least one new thing to the show.

Reggie briefly talked with L.A. Times about the importance of The Game Awards. Speaking with the publication, Reggie noted how it’s important “to step back and recognize the incredible artistic achievements that bring joy to millions of people worldwide”, and the event “is our way of recognizing the fun and beauty of video games, along with the talented people who create them.”

We reached out to the folks involved with Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, and were told by a representative that the there are no plans to tour in 2018 at this time.

Have you ever wondered how many coins the various Super Mario games have scattered around? Giff Gaff was apparently curious, as the company has calculated estimated totals. Almost every title was examined, with the exception of Super Mario Odyssey – perhaps since it’s a recent release.

There are also some caveats. For Super Mario Galaxy 2, a let’s play was the primary source. Other sources were also used in some cases to help with the totals.
