THQ Nordic is slowly but surely becoming an important name in the gaming industry. Originally known as Nordic Games, the company rebranded earlier this year. It holds to the rights to notable IPs such as Darksiders, de Blob, Deadly Creatures, and much more.
We recently spoke with THQ Nordic’s Reinhard Pollice in a wide-ranging interview. He commented on the publisher’s continued support of Wii U (whereas most third-parties have moved on), and different IPs such as de Blob and Deadly Creatures. We also asked about why Darksiders Warmastered Edition is taking a bit longer to release on Wii U.
For our full interview, head past the break.

Super Mario Run on My Nintendo – earn points, get Rally Tickets
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Mobile, News | 2 Comments
A new My Nintendo video was recently shared across Europe that reveals some interesting elements about the upcoming integration with Super Mario Run.
Just like Miitomo, players will be able to earn points on the membership service. It’s almost certain that you’ll be completing certain missions in order to earn Super Mario Run Platinum Points (which combine with all Platinum Points you earn).
The video also shows Rally Tickets as an upcoming reward on My Nintendo. Tickets are needed to play Toad Rally in Super Mario Run. Aside from earning them on My Nintendo, you can also earn these in different ways like finishing worlds or through bonus games in your kingdom.
Another Super Mario Run reward is depicted showing Toad. However, its purpose isn’t entirely known just yet. We should be finding out when the game launches on December 15.

The very first issue of EDGE debuted way back on August 19, 1993. With the magazine celebrating its 300th edition this month, a plethora of developers were asked to select their favorite games that have come out since then.
A number of big names went with Nintendo titles. Hideo Kojima, for instance, chose Pokemon Gold/Silver. Warren Spector meanwhile selected Super Mario 64 – as did many others.
Head past the break for the lineup of developers who picked Nintendo games.

My Nintendo – earn 50 extra Platinum Points, Flipnote Studio 3D returns
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 5 Comments
My Nintendo received a substantial update yesterday in a few ways. The site itself was refreshed with a new look, and some new rewards were added in. We have a couple of extra things to point out that may have gone unnoticed.
First, you can now earn 50 extra Platinum Points. You can do so by clicking on your Mii three different times (on three different pages). The first two times you find your Mii, you’ll earn 10 points, and another 30 for the final time.
Flipnote Studio 3D has also returned, and costs 200 Platinum Points. It carries no expiration date, so the reward won’t be leaving My Nintendo anytime soon.
One other very small but neat detail by the way: you can click on a button on the missions page to collect all points at once.
