GAME, among other stores throughout the UK, are now selling Pokemon X/Y ahead of the game’s official release date tomorrow. The retailer has since followed up with Polygon and explained why copies are being offered preemptively.
In its statement to the site, a representative said sales were given the go ahead because “a competitor broke street date – so other retailers can now sell this title.” GAME wouldn’t name the retailer in question, in case you were wondering.
