Rocket League has just received a new update, bringing the game to version 2.16. This update is preparing the game for its 7th season, adding in a new Arena Variant, overhauling the Custom Training mode, addressing certain player behaviors and generally fixing a number of bugs.

Here are the full patch notes for Rocket League’s 2.16 version update:

Aspyr has recently confirmed that the planned DLC for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is set to release later this year in Q3 2022. This DLC is titled “Sith Lords Restored” and features a load of new content, including a mission with droid companion HK-47, a revamped ending, new dialogue and interactions among your crew, and new quests and combat missions scattered throughout the world.

This DLC is actually restored content that was cut from the original release of the game, back in 2004. Aspyr has opted to make this content a free DLC, so players will be able to experience it at no additional cost.

Fire Emblem Switch leak

Earlier today, we reported on rumored details regarding the next Fire Emblem game for Switch. We heard about a few aspects such as a new character that has strange red and blue hair with a mother that’s a dragon, the ability to summon characters from previous titles, and more.

Reddit user miasmadelta has now come forward with images supposedly showing off the game. They at least back up what we heard earlier about the main character. miasmadelta also says that the summoning aspect isn’t a huge part of the game and says it’s not set in modern day.

Fire Emblem Heroes Summer Vacation

A new summoning event is approaching for Fire Emblem Heroes, with Nintendo and Intelligent Systems today announcing Summer Vacation.

Dimitri: Sky-Blue Lion (voiced by Chris Hackney, art by Nishiki Areku), Micaiah: Wavecrest Maiden (voiced by Veronica Taylor, art by ichikawa Halu), Claude: Tropical Trouble (voiced by Joe Zieja, art by azu-taro), and the duo Edelgard: Sun Empress (voiced by Tara Platt + Krizia Bajos, art by Kakage) will be featured. Dimitri has the learnable skills Unyielding Oar, Glimmer, Atk/Spd Catch 4, Atrocity, and Spd/Def Menace. Micaiah’s lineup is Moonlight Drop, Maiden’s Solace, Moonbow, Atk/Res Catch 4, and Prescience. Claude’s skills include Frozen Delight, Moonbow, Fallen Star, and Spd/Def Rein 3. Finally, Edelgard features Regal Sunshade, Glimmer, Atk/Def Ideal 4, Raging Storm, and Assault Troop 3.

Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei is almost ready to go for its western debut, and Idea Factory has now come out with a new trailer. It provides another look at the otome visual novel.

sora smash bros ultimate tetsuya nomura

Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura has again discussed Sora’s appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, telling Game Informer that he was “very picky about his appearance”.

Although some have felt that Disney’s approval would be the major hurdle to get past, the company was all for the collaboration. Nomura, on the other hand, “thought it would be tough to pull off because it might clash with the established lore in Kingdom Hearts and the Disney worlds”. Everything worked out in the end though, and believes “the end result was really great.”

fall guys Spartan Showdown chief

Mediatonic has announced a new Spartan Showdown event for Fall Guys, which will bring about an optional look featuring Master Chief from Halo and more.

The fun begins on June 30. During the event, players can complete challenges to unlock spartan themed rewards. The lineup includes Master Chief, a Grunt skin, Brute skin, and the Spartan helmet.
