Pokemon Legends: Arceus

We’ve had a couple of major looks at Pokemon Legends: Arceus thus far. Our first glimpse at the game came back in February as part of the initial reveal. Then just this week, another trailer arrived with a look at gameplay as well.

It’s unclear how many Pokemon will be included in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. But based on what’s been shown and said thus far, we’ve compiled an initial list.

Here’s the full lineup:

Slime Rancher: Plortable Edition

Not only was Slime Rancher: Plortable Edition announced for Switch during the Indie World Showcase last week, but it also released that same day. That shadowdrop release worked out well for Monomi Park as the game is off to a fast start on the eShop.

According to Monomi Park co-founder and CEO Nick Popovich, Slime Rancher’s Switch launch “was the best sales day in its history.” That’s despite the fact that the game has been around for several years.

Monomi Park is currently developing Slime Rancher 2, which was revealed earlier this year. There’s no word on a Switch release currently, but given the success of the original game on the console, perhaps a port will happen down the road.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, which first debuted on Wii U, will soon be appearing on Switch. The original lineup of costumes has been altered a bit, and while we won’t be seeing the Zero Suit Samus or Zelda costumes, there are new looks for Yuri, Miu and Ren.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity takes place 100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Since it’s set well behind in the past, we’re able to see what the world was like before a good part of it was left in ruins.

This presented an interesting challenge to the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity developers. The team had to go back to the drawing board and imagine what the world would have been originally like.

Producers Yosuke Hayashi and Masaki Furusawa, along with director Ryota Matsushita, noted the following about the design process while speaking with Japanese outlet Dengeki Online:
