After they previously launched in Japan, SD Gundam G Generation Genesis and SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Platinum Edition are now about to debut in Asia. These releases are actually noteworthy for fans in the west. Although Bandai Namco is unlikely to offer the two titles in North America or Europe, the new Asian versions will have full English support.

Bandai Namco has shared the latest on Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s next major DLC. Legendary Pack 1 will launch this month alongside the next free update, the company announced today.

Legendary Pack 1 features Pikkon and Toppo (God of Destruction). As for the update, it includes a Janemba CC Mascot and five new figures for the Hero Colosseum: Topo (God of Destruction), Pikkon, Janemba, Gogeta (Super Saiyan 1), and Vegeta (SSGSS).

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works today unveiled the final release date for the next Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character. Gogeta (SS4) will arrive next week, the two sides confirmed.

For all players, the latest fighter is scheduled for March 12. FighterZ Pass 3 owners can gain early access on March 10.

Nintendo Switch

This week, Switch officially turned four years old. Japanese magazine Famitsu celebrated the milestone with a special feature in its latest issue. A list was published as part of that, which shows the top 35 best-selling Switch games so far.

Despite only releasing last year, Animal Crossing: New Horizons took the top spot – and it wasn’t really close. Well over six million copies have been sold in Japan, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the next closest at just over four million.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village

In a recent interview with Yahoo Japan, Level-5 CEO Akihiko Hino spoke at length about the company’s beginnings, reminiscing about memorable moments in his career and sharing insight into the origin of some of the company’s most famous works. Once Hino announced his intent to get into self publishing back in the day, the pressure he faced fueled him to make the Level-5’s first self published title a hit, leading to the birth of Professor Layton.
