This month’s issue of Nintendo Dream has an interview with Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura and Masanobu Suzui from Indieszero. The two were pretty much there to promote Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, though the discussion closed out in an interesting way.

Nintendo Dream ended the interview by asking what the two developers wanted to highlight about Melody of Memory. Eventually, after a few exchanges, Suzui and Nomura said the following (as translated by Nintendo Everything’s Oni Dino):

Microids and Playmagic have come out with a new trailer for the XIII remake. Have a look at the video below.

You’ll notice that at the end of today’s trailer, the Switch logo is nowhere to be found. If we had to guess, we’ll no longer be seeing the Switch version in November as originally planned. We’ve reached out to Microids about the situation, and will let you know if they respond to our inquiry.

Nintendo Switch

We heard earlier today that Switch was again the best-selling console in the United States. That piece of information was more important than initially thought, as the system has set a new record.

Following what took place in September, Switch has been the best-selling console in the U.S. since December 2018. That marks 22 consecutive months that this has happened, and a new record has been set. The Xbox 360 previous held the record with 21 consecutive months, which took place between August 2011 and April 2013.
