Although Othercide isn’t launching on Switch until later this summer, Lightbulb Crew and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer celebrating its launch on other platforms. Check it out below.

Aardman Studios has just announced that its puzzle platformer, Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition, will be getting a physical release in the UK on September 1 for £9.99. Though this offer is only available in the UK with no word on a physical release in North America, Switch games are not region locked, and can be imported and played from other regions.

Additionally, the developer and publisher announced that Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition would be released via the Switch eShop in Japan this week, on July 30th.

Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition is currently available in North America and Europe on the Switch eShop. You can check out an overview and trailer for the game here.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin

Amazon has opened pre-orders for the Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin – Divine Edition. You can reserve it here.

The Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin – Divine Edition comes with the game, a 3-disc soundtrack, a 130-page art book, and a Japanese omamori charm, all packaged within a custom box with exclusive illustration. It’ll be out alongside the main game on November 10.

Tetris 99 - Paper Mario: The Origami King

Nintendo has announced the 15th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99. This time around, Paper Mario: The Origami King will be featured. Players will be able to unlock a theme based on the game.

The 15th Maximus Cup goes live on July 31 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. You’ll have until August 3 at 11:59 PM PT / August 4 at 2:59 AM ET to collect 100 event points and unlock the theme.

Eiyuden Chronicle

Eiyuden Chronicle has achieved massive success on Kickstarter after the campaign went live earlier today. In just a few hours, the project already exceeded $1 million. In addition to the main funding goal, the console stretch goal has been met as well.

Based on what we’ve heard from Rabbit & Bear Studios, we should be seeing Eiyuden Chronicle on some sort of Nintendo console. Whether it’s Switch or something else, however, remains to be seen. A new Nintendo console is clearly the team’s goal, but it sounds like they’re willing to put in the work for a Switch version as well.
