Square Enix has shared a message from Araki Ryoma, the director of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition.
The game experienced significant online play issues at launch, which apparently happened due to servers exceeding their capacity. Maintenance on August 29 “has led to comparatively stable running thereafter.”
Ryoma has also shared details on update plans. A couple of issues will be addressed soon and the host for online sessions will be able to skip boss introduction cut scenes and myrrh drop scenes.
Here’s the full message from Ryoma:

9 Monkeys of Shaolin demo starting to go live on Switch ahead of release
Posted on 4 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
9 Monkeys of Shaolin won’t be arriving until October, but there’s an opportunity to try out the game early. A demo has started to appear on the Switch eShop.
We’ve only been able to locate it in PAL regions thus far, though it should be offered in other regions soon, including North America. In the meantime, if you create a Nintendo Account in a region like the UK, you should be able to download the demo without any issues. Switch being region free certainly comes in handy.
9 Monkeys of Shaolin launches for Switch on October 16.

Pikmin 3 returns to the Wii U eShop
Posted on 4 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
After Pikmin 3 Deluxe was announced for Switch, the original Pikmin 3 was removed from the Wii U eShop. There’s good news though: the game has returned. You can purchase a digital Wii U copy directly from the Wii U eShop or through Nintendo’s website. It’s also still at the Nintendo Selects price of $19.99.
It’s unclear what exactly is happening with these Wii U removals. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for instance, is currently unavailable (at least at this exact moment) following its Switch release. Super Mario 3D World is still up on the Wii U store despite its Switch announcement yesterday.
Today’s development did at least bring about good news for Pikmin 3. Here’s hoping it remains on the Wii U eShop.
Thanks to Jake and DAMMITLOUIE for the tip.
