Pinball FX3

When Nintendo Switch Online started yesterday, many games required a membership in order to play online and access certain elements through the internet. Pinball FX3 ended up being one of them, but not intentionally.

Right now Pinball FX3 requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to participate in tournaments and other online features. However, developer Zen Studios says an update has been submitted “which will mean no online subscription is needed for any Pinball FX3 feature.”

Best Buy has opened pre-orders for a few new amiibo that will be restocked soon. Pac-Man is up first on October 19, with Captain Falcon, Marth, and Ganondorf following December 7.

Pre-orders are open here. Currently this restock appears to be Best Buy-exclusive.

Abstraction Games announced today that it will be porting Bonfire Games’ Pitfall Planet to Switch. It’s due out on the eShop sometime this fall.

Pitfall Planet is simply described as “a two-player co-operative puzzle-solving adventure game that takes place on a distant, forgotten mining world.” We’ve included more details and a trailer below.

A trio of Switch games have been announced for physical release. Reverie, Death Road to Canada, and Ghost Blade HD will all be available sometime in 2019.

Dark Souls: Remastered is now available to pre-load from the Switch eShop. If you plan on picking up the game digitally, you’ll need 3.9GB of space.

Dark Souls: Remastered launches October 19. A network test will be held this weekend, and takes up 888MB of space.
