Sparkle 2 has joined the Switch eShop as one of many new games being sold digitally on the system today. Check out some footage below.

GameSpot obtained a brief statement from GameStop about the launch of the SNES Classic Edition. GameStop and ThinkGeek stores will both have units available for walk-in customers in the United States.

A GameStop representative did say that stores will have a “limited and varied amount of consoles” as expected. You may want to line up early and call your local store ahead of time.

The FIFA series makes its debut on Switch tomorrow with FIFA 18. Rather than taking what was on other platforms and transplanting it onto Switch, EA created the Switch version with a custom engine. Best Buy has provided some information about how it’s handling the launch of the SNES Classic Edition.

The retailer has no plans online. However, those who did pre-order a unit will be receiving theirs on Friday.

As for the in-store launch, Best Buy will have limited quantities. Systems will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Best Buy is planning a ticketing process for customers waiting in line, with tickets being handed out starting at 7 AM local time. Tickets will only be given out for as many systems available, with a limit of one per customer.

Superbeat: Xonic was recently delayed from its October launch. It’s now planned for simply “fall”.

With what looks to be a new ARMS update coming very soon, Nintendo has scheduled maintenance for the game. Online services will be impacted tonight in North America (very early tomorrow in Europe).

The maintenance schedule for ARMS is as follows:

– 5:50 PM PT (September 28) – 7:30 PM PT (September 28)
– 8:50 PM ET (September 28) – 10:30 PM ET (September 28)
– 1:50 AM in the UK (September 29) – 3:30 AM in the UK (September 29)
– 2:50 AM in Europe (September 29) – 4:30 AM in Europe (September 29)

Call and Joule were added to Mighty Gunvolt Burst in Japan yesterday as new DLC characters. In North America and Europe, this same content is now available as well.

The DLC characters are joining Mighty Gunvolt Burst as part of a version 1.2 update. However, Call and Joule are both paid DLC, costing $2 each.

Merge Games and Prospect Games have nailed down a final release date for Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure. Two different dates are planned between the physical and digital version.

The initial launch for Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure is taking place on October 11. You’ll be able to pick up the digital version on the eShop on October 11 for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. The physical version will follow on November 16.
