Miiverse

Sadly, Miiverse is coming to an end soon. Nintendo announced earlier today that the service ends on November 7 / November 8, depending on where you live.

So what about those who participated a ton in Miiverse? What will happen to everything posted on the social network? Well, the good news is that Nintendo has started up a tool that allows Miiverse users to submit a request for a file containing all posts and screenshots saved in your album. As long as you have a Nintendo Account and make the request before Miiverse ends, you should be good to go.

Full details are on the official page here.

Amazon Germany is taking pre-orders for several new Nintendo products. The Fire Emblem Warriors Limited Edition (and the Chrom / Tiki amiibo), the SNES New 3DS XL, and physical versions of Pokemon Gold/Silver are all now live. For those who are interested, everything is located here.

Thanks to axel for the tip.

More:

Fire Emblem Heroes has a new Brave Heroes event. Tying in with that, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have created some special art for the mobile game.

What’s noteworthy here is some text on Lucina’s sword. After it was translated, fans noticed that it roughly signifies “anime project success”. Fans are now hoping that this is a sign about an anime, though we’re quite far from a confirmation at this point. Regardless, is it something you’d like to see?

Nintendo has released a new trailer for the Brave Heroes summoning event in Fire Emblem Heroes. Check it out below.

Legendary Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu is holding a 24-hour livestream on Niconico starting this Thursday, August 31st, at 7 PM JST to celebrate its 1,500th issue going on sale. Journalists, developers and voice actors will be present to talk about the magazine’s history, play games and more. The livestream will also feature upcoming games – and among those is Fire Emblem Warriors. The game’s official Twitter account has revealed that during the stream’s opening segment, new information about Fire Emblem Warriors will be revealed.

Despite the game’s Japanese release date being only one month away, there’s still quite a lot we don’t know about it. We still haven’t met any of the game’s Shadow Dragon characters other than Marth, the amiibo functionality is still unknown and the game’s Coliseum mode also hasn’t been talked about a whole lot. Either way, there’s plenty that could be revealed during the stream. If you have a Niconico account, you’ll be able to watch it live here.

A support system has been a staple feature of Fire Emblem games for a long while now. However, it has been absent from the series’ recent mobile release, Fire Emblem Heroes. It seems like that might be changing soon though. The game’s latest update has been datamined, and among other things, such as the stats of the Choose Your Legends heroes, the update also contains the following line:

MID_TIPS_0018: Strengthen your allies through\nAlly Support! Allies who are\npartnered up will gain a stat\nboost when they fight near\neach other.\n\nYou can find Ally Support\nunder Advanced Growth in the\nAllies menu.

So far, this is just a tip that can appear on a loading screen and apparently nothing else about this supposed support system has been found in the game’s files, so don’t count on it being actually available in the game soon. Still, it’ll be interesting to see how Intelligent Systems will actually implement it in a game with so many characters.
