The Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 3DS puzzle is out now in Europe. Make sure you have Wi-Fi enabled on your system, and the first piece should arrive via SpotPass.
Captain Toad’s puzzle previously released in North America earlier this month.

Nintendo holding Splatoon event in Japan later this month

Nintendo will hold a Splatoon event during the Game Party Japan 2015 on December 31 and January 1 in Tokyo, the company has announced. The Wii U game will be playable as well. I imagine the demo will be the same as the one shown at E3 in June, but maybe Nintendo will surprise us!

Square Enix selling Final Fantasy VII costume DLC for Final Fantasy Explorers

With the launch of Final Fantasy Explorers in Japan, Square Enix has already started selling downloadable content.
Players can purchase costumes based on characters from Final Fantasy VII. These include Cloud with the Buster Sword weapon, Aerith with the Guard Rod weapon, and Tifa with the Premium Heart weapon. Pricing is set at 150 yen each.
More DLC will be available for Final Fantasy Explorers in the future.
