Outlast 2 Switch tech analysis and PS4 comparison

Red Barrels brought Outlast 2 to Switch this week. In a new video, Digital Foundry takes a closer look at the port and compares it to the PlayStation 4 version.
Regarding resolution, Outlast 2 runs at 1008p (yes, not 1080p) when docked. For portable play, it’s the standard 720p. Frame rate comes in at 30 FPS in both modes.

Okami HD will release on Switch this summer. On Nintendo’s console, Capcom is implementing a couple of unique control schemes.
When playing in portable mode, the touchscreen can be used to draw brushstrokes. You can also use the Joy-Con controller’s motion controls in TV or Tabletop mode by moving it in the desired pattern, just like a paintbrush.

During the last Nintendo Direct, the ARMS US & Canada Online Open Tournament was announced. Most of the matches have now taken place, with the main event set for today at Nintendo of America HQ.
