Capcom brought out the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Hunter’s Weapon Gallery theme for 3DS in North America today as a free download. You can find some footage of it below.

Based on Media Create data, Bravely Second sold 100,000 copies in its first week. How does that stack up to the first game?

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy ended up selling 142,000 copies in its first week. It also had a higher sell-through rate of 85.68 percent compared to Bravely Second’s 53.53 percent.

Media Create points out that Bravely Second is a direct sequel, so buyers were pretty much limited to those who tried out the original game, and it doesn’t look like it managed to attract the same amount of players. It’ll be interesting to see how Bravely Second sells during Golden Week.

Siliconera has a new interview up with a couple of the developers behind Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The site spoke with executive director Kaname Fujioka as well as executive producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. Between the two, they commented on topics like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s item drop rate, how the Tetsuya Nomura armor set collaboration came about, and more.

Update: The theme will only be a limited time after all (thanks AJ_Blaze_). Be sure to grab it while it’s free!

Capcom has released the free Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate theme (“Hunter’s Weapon Gallery”) for 3DS. This is being made available to celebrate the game having shipped over one million copies in North America and Europe. It seems to be permanently free, but I’ll update this post if I hear otherwise.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was updated with its third round of DLC, though that’s not the only thing that’s new. Capcom has prepared two new items packs as well. “MH4U Support Pack” and “MH4U Advanced Pack” are both free of charge.

Masaya Games has revealed some new information concerning the upcoming title, Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei.

First, we have three new characters:

– Hilda Justiz (voiced by Kazusa Aranami)
– Florencia (Flore) Justiz (voiced by Mariko Honda)
– Tsubame Deura (voiced by Nao Tamura)

Second, we have new art for these characters:

Last, Masaya Games has announced a livestream will be scheduled for May 8th on NicoNico.

Livestream times are as follows:

Japan: 9:30PM
Europe: 2:30PM
UK: 1:30PM
North America (EST): 8:30AM

As of now we also know that there will be four people in attendance:

– Mafia Kajita
– Kazusa Aranami
– Shuuta Morishima (Ares’ voice actor)
– Saitou Soushi (Producer)

The free DLC pack for May is here! On the first Friday of every month since its release, Capcom has been delivering fun and awesome DLC for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. This time, the DLC brings you Street Fighter, Mega Man and Metroid gear as well as the High Rank Universal Studios Japan equipment, new Challenge Quests, a bonus Palico and tons of other exclusives. WayForward’s new Mighty Switch Force! 3DS theme was expected out today, but it didn’t appear in the weekly Nintendo Download report. There’s a reason for that: its release date has changed. A new date hasn’t been set, but WayForward will have news “soon.”
