More on Pokemon Sun/Moon’s second week sales in Japan and how they compare to X/Y
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Media Create reported that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon sold 375,665 copies in Japan between November 21 and November 28. We now have additional information from the sales tracker, revealing that the split was 197,000 for Sun and 179,000 for Moon.
That means each version is reduced to about a fourth of their first week sales. Pokemon X (second week of 240,000 copies) and Pokemon Y (233,000 copies) also saw about the same reduction rate. By counting the two games from the Double Pack, Sun and Moon’s total sales as of the second week are 2,281,000 copies, which goes down slightly if compared to X/Y’s two-week total of 2,340,000 units.

Super Mario Maker for 3DS version 1.02 now live
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 1 Comment
Yesterday we noted that Super Mario Maker for 3DS’s first update, version 1.01, was on the eShop. Strangely, Nintendo already has another update available. Version 1.02 has now replaced the previous patch on the eShop.
The size is exactly the same at 158 blocks (19.75 MB). Also, once again, the update is needed in order to access the Course World and its online features.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

In case you’re curious, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition rounded out the rest of the top five.

Get Arceus in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire with a new code
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 1 Comment
Arceus was distributed in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire a few months ago. However, players needed to visit certain retailers – such as GameStop in the United States – in order to obtain a code. Now the distribution is running again, and you won’t need to head to your local store this time around.
If you’re in North America, enter the code “Arceus20”. Those in PAL regions can use the code “Arceus2016”.
Note that if you’ve already received Arceus, you won’t be able to download the Pokemon for a second time.
