We have unfortunate news to share for those those who reserved the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition from the Nintendo UK store. Emails are going out to some customers today informing them that their orders have been cancelled. In the notice, Nintendo says the product sold out on April 1, but was showing again a few days later due to a “technical error”. A £5 voucher is provided inside the email.

A new Fire Emblem Fates bundle is now up on Nintendo UK’s store here. This includes the packaged version of Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright, Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest downloadable content, Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation downloadable content, a Fire Emblem Fates T-Shirt and a free pre-order only Fire Emblem Fates 3DS theme. Pricing is set at £69.99.

You can read Nintendo’s complete cancellation notice after the break.

Update (5/7): Bumped to the top. This is now down to $27.82 (as of this moment).

Original (5/5): Hyrule Warriors Legends is seeing one of its first sales through Amazon. The game started out with a $40 price point, but has now dipped by nearly $10 to around $30. Place an order here if interested.

Monster Hunter Stories was announced almost a year ago. Capcom now seems to be wrapping up its work on the game, as a release date could be coming very soon. Series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said during a talk show event at Machi Asobi recently that he hopes to be able to announce news on this front by the month. He also said that it’s being made as a mainstream RPG.

Fans asked Tsujimoto about topics like Elder Dragons appearing, if we’ll be seeing new monsters in the game, and potential link features with Monster Hunter Generations. Unfortunately though, he wouldn’t divulge answers to any of these questions for now.

Media Create reported this week that Kirby: Planet Robobot sold 145,000 copies in its first week in Japan. That’s based on sales gathered between April 28 and May 1.

Dengeki now offers further insight into Kirby: Planet Robobot’s performance. According to the site, it sold through 60 percent of its initial shipment (Dengeki puts first week sales at 129,000 units by the way). The last Kirby game, Triple Deluxe, sold 219,000 in its first week before going on to sell 734,000 units. This may make it seem that Planet Robobot is starting slowly, but since Kirby has an expectation more in line of an evergreen title, more sales can probably be expected for a long time to come.
