Switch surpasses two million units sold in France, various sales data

Le Figaro published a new interview today with Philippe Lavoué, the general manager of Nintendo France. Lavoué shared the latest sales data for Switch hardware, software, and more.

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of December 2018.
Nintendo had a great month, as over 30% of all games sold were on the company’s platforms. Switch accounted for 29.5% of that figure. Nintendo was the UK’s biggest publisher of physical games in December and Nintendo-published games comprised 19.3% of all games sold. During the month, Switch was the second most-popular platform, following just behind PS4’s 39.7% share.

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn launches March 8, new amiibo functionality revealed, more

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn was known to be coming out sometime this year. Today, Nintendo confirmed that the game is launching on March 8.
We also have some news about amiibo functionality. By scanning compatible Kirby series amiibo figures, you can earn hats and abilities based on the figure used.
