Warhammer 40,000: Shootas Blood & Teef release date

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef has secured a final release date. The game will launch on October 20, 2022, developer Rogueside announced today.

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef was first revealed for Switch last June. The action platformer originally had a general 2022 release window.

Drova: Forsaken Kin

Thanks to a new announcement from publisher Deck13 and developer Just2D, we have confirmation that Drova: Forsaken Kin will be appearing on Switch. However, there’s no word on a release window currently.

Drova: Forsaken Kin, an action RPG, takes inspiration from grim dark games of the genre. We have more information about the project below. 

Old Skies

Wadjet Eye Games has announced Old Skies, a time-travel adventure for Switch set in the same universe as Unavowed and the Blackwell mystery series. A release window has yet to be determined.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun

Today, publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Auroch Digital announced Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The retro-style first-person shooter is due out on Switch in 2023.

Speaking on today’s announcement, Focus Entertainment chief creative officer Dessil Basmadjian said:

Original (5/24): LRG3, Limited Run Games’ annual showcase, is returning for 2022. The company has announced this year’s event for June 6, 2022.

LRG3 is where Limited Run Games announces a slew of upcoming physical releases for Switch. Additionally, we sometimes find out about new games for the platform. Last year for instance, River City Girls 2 and River City Girls Zero were announced for Switch.

sonic frontiers gameplay video

Yesterday, we saw a small glimpse of gameplay Sonic Frontiers. Thanks to IGN, we now have a lengthier look at the upcoming Switch title. The outlet has shared a new seven-minute gameplay video.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Dio

The latest character trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is in, and we now have a look at Dio. He’s said to be both a “showstopper” as well as a time stopper.

Nintendo Switch Road Trip

Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Switch Road Trip, which intends to bring families an interactive experience. It will be held between June 10 and September 5 at various stops across the United States.

Those that visit will be able to go hands-on with the Switch OLED system. Demos of some of the latest games will be available, including Nintendo Switch Sports, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and Mario Strikers: Battle League.


PowerA is gearing up for The Delicious Last Course DLC in Cuphead with a new Switch controller. While we previously saw a design for Mugman at the end of 2020, this latest one is based on Ms. Chalice.

PowerA notes that the new design “radiates all the animated, eccentric energy of the franchise.” It features bright yellow hues and mint green accents. Also, the front faceplate is polished off with detailed, cartoon artwork from the game starring Ms. Chalice.

pokemon scarlet violet double pack

Following the news today that Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will launch for Switch in November, pre-orders started up on the eShop. File sizes for the games have also been revealed.

Those that go with either Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet will need 10GB of free space. It’s possible that the size could change as we get close to release, but we’ll give you a heads up if anything changes.
