The Switch OLED finally launched around the world yesterday. It’s not quite the “Pro” model that some hoped it would be, but it does have a number of upgrades. The obvious attraction is the new OLED screen that’s a tad bigger. Other than that, it has an updated dock with an ethernet port, new kickstand, 64GB of internal memory, and enhanced audio.

The Long Dark Episode 4 out now on Switch

Following two years of development, Hinterland Studio issued an Episode 4 free story update for its exploration-survival experience The Long Dark titled “Fury, Then Silence”. Switch players should be able to access it after installing a version 1.95.83581 patch.
The new story “follows crashed bush pilot Mackenzie on his continued search for his companion Astrid in the snowy apocalypse.” He’s now found himself captured by a gang attempting a prison break.

Video: Dying Light Switch vs. PC comparison

A new video has emerged that acts as a comparison for the Switch and PC versions of Dying Light: Platinum Edition.
Dying Light on Switch contains the base game and a ton of additional content. It will also support the system’s various features, including gyro aiming, motion control, and HD Rumble. Players can also navigate the interface with touch screen support as well. Local and online co-op are both supported, allowing players to enjoy the game by placing two consoles next to each other.
Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC launch trailer

Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Dead Mage have uploaded a launch trailer for the new Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC.
As previously mentioned, the new DLC comes with an additional character. It also has new character masks to customize each family member as well as five relics, five charms, and five graces.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land boxart, pre-orders

Kirby and the Forgotten Land has started to pop up at various retailers, providing the game’s official boxart – and pre-orders are also available.
You can check out the packaging image for Kirby and the Forgotten Land above. You’ll notice that it’s the same image used for the game’s key art.
Toree 2 Switch gameplay

Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon vol. 143 – Sukuna-Hikona

For the first Shin Megami Tensei V demon trailer of the day, Atlus is putting the spotlight on Sukuna-Hikona. Its very initial appearance came in Shin Megami Tensei II, and it has been present throughout the series since.
