Update (11/19): Amazon’s lineup has been updated in recent days. Dragon Quest XI S is no longer included, but Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Tokyo Mirage Sessions are in. You can check out the lineup here.
Original (11/15): Much like what’s taking place with Target this week, Amazon is running another buy 2, get 1 free sale. The latest offer focuses entirely on video games. Amazon recently held a similar offer going that included a few other entertainment categories as well.
Some games are returning, but some additional titles have been added to the selection as well. Dragon Quest XI S is still here, though now the just-released Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is included, as is Astral Chain.
You can check out the full selection here. Based on Target’s new sale, the offer should last through November 21.

The Big House has made a name for itself as one of the biggest competitive events for Super Smash Bros. Unfortunately, this year’s tournament won’t be happening as originally planned.
The Big House was already forced to go online-only in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Although the revised digital event was planned for early December, it has now been cancelled entirely. The news comes following a cease-and-desist demand from Nintendo of America.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.6.0 removes camo glitch
Posted on 4 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Another Crossing: New Horizons has had a number of prominent glitches since launch, though Nintendo tends to patch them out. The trend continues with another fan favorite: the camo glitch.
The bug previously let players force items to take on any color texture instead of having to be limited to Nintendo’s palettes. It was a way of coming up with all sorts of unique combinations, such as a room styled after the colors of a birthday cupcake. You can get a closer look at what the glitch previously allowed for from AbdallahSmash026 below.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons goes back to limiting time travel for early access to events
Posted on 4 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Unlike previous games, Nintendo has been taking a tougher stance on time traveling in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players have not been able to freely fast-forward the time or day in order to access seasonal events early – for the most part anyway.
For the initial launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, that time traveling technique simply didn’t work at all since the player’s clock would be checked to ensure that it was accurate. Interestingly though, it has not been enforced as of late. Players discovered that there was no such restriction in place with recent events like Halloween.
