The Last Spell

French developer CCCP Games has announced The Last Spell, a “turn-based tactical RPG with roguelite elements from CCCP where hardened heroes defend humanity’s final bastion from hordes of blood-starved monstrosities”. The project is currently in development for Switch.

Two Point Hospital

SEGA has announced its lineup for Gamescom 2019, which will be held in Cologne, Germany later this month.

As far as Nintendo-related releases go, the sim game Two Point Hospital will be on display. Other SEGA (and Atlus) products for the show include Catherine: Full Body, the SEGA Mega Drive Mini, and an unannounced AAA project for unspecified platforms.

Gamescom 2019 will take place between August 20 and August 24. SEGA can be found at the Koch Media stand, Hall 9.1, C015.

GungHo Online Entertainment has finally set a release date for Grandia HD Collection. It’ll be out via the eShop on August 16, the company announced today.

Here’s what fans can expect from the collection:

Merge Games is partnering with Big Sugar and Steel Mantis on the physical version of Valfaris. The game will be sold in stores this November, the company announced today. We assume that the digital launch will also be taking place around that time.

Valfaris is a heavy metal infused 2D action-platformer. The same team behind Slain: Back From Hell is handling development.

A new content update for Fortnite is now available. Version 10.00 features a new sniper rifle, Titled Town, and more.

Last week, a new Cooking Mama game titled Cooking Mama: Cookstar was spotted from a rating in Australia. The classification didn’t provide any hints as to which platforms it’ll be released on, but it has now been rated for Switch in Germany. Planet Entertainment will be publishing.

Cooking Mama has been a mainstay on Nintendo platforms since the DS era. The last entry was Sweet Shop in 2007, which was made for DS.

Square Enix released another gameplay video for Oninaki today. This one focuses on the demon Dia:

A new set of quests is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. The Dark Blessing Quests award you for defeating enemies with Heroes that have had a Dark blessing conferred on them. They will be available until August 20.

The next daily summoning event is now also available: Heroes with Combat Boosts. The 5-star focus units are Ayra: Astra’s Wielder, Sonya: Vengeful Mage and Lyn: Brave Lady.

Finally, the Grand Hero Battle against Takumi: Empty Vessel is back until August 8. There’s also a limited-time quest available that awards you with another copy of Takumi should you clear it.

Following news that Hubert, Petra, Mercedes, and Hilda from Fire Emblem: Three Houses would all be coming to Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo has released an informative video on what sets them apart in the mobile game.

The video covers each character and goes over their abilities. Those interested can view the footage below.
