Kirby printer shown off in Kirby: Battle Royale

The official Japanese Kirby Twitter has uploaded an animation of Kirby: Battle Royale. It shows off the Kirby printer creating a couple of Kirby copies. Looks as though Kirby will be fighting to become the number one Kirby in the story mode. Check out the animation below.

This Pokemon Shuffle brings us a Tapu Fini stage that will cost 600 coins to play and last til October 17th. Totodile (Winking), Feraligatr, Zygarde 10% and Zygarde Complete Forme will also have stages available until October 17th as well.

Oxenfree, Touhou Kobuto V, Spelunker Party! file sizes

The Switch eShop confirms file sizes for a trio of upcoming Switch games. We have the sizes for Oxenfree, Touhou Kobuto V, and Spleunker Party!, which are all due out this month.
Below are the results:
Oxenfree – 2.0GB
Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle – 985MB
Spelunker Party! – 3.3GB
Oxenfree comes out this Friday – October 6. Touhou Kobuto V is next on October 10, followed by Spelunker Party! on October 19.

Miitomo – returning Miitomo Drop stage theme (10/2/17)

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find returning stages with more items.
“The show must go on! Miitomo Concert” is the returning theme. The stages provide the following:
– Acoustic guitar
– Violin
– Saxophone
– Synthesizer
– Melody tee
– Orchestra jacket
– Orchestra shorts
– Rhytmic tights
– Mic-hood
– Mic-drop costume
– Piano keys tee
– Bell one piece
The returning stage will be available until October 5 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.

The European eShop provides some news about the latest NeoGeo game on Switch. Later this week, Hamster will be publishing Metal Slug X.
Here’s an overview:
Metal Slug X is an action shooting game released by SNK in 1999. It is a rearranged version of Metal Slug 2. Using Metal Slug 2 as a base, a variety of new weapons and enemies have been added. Furthermore, with position changes of bosses and more, the game’s difficulty has been completely readjusted.
Metal Slug X is slated for October 5. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Pokémon GO Halloween event coming later this month

Last year, Niantic ran a five-day Pokémon GO Halloween event in which 1.3 billion Ghost type Pokémon were caught. The success of the event propelled the game back to the top of the charts and was the iPhone’s highest-grossing title in the United States.
In an official statement, the Pokémon company has confirmed there will be another Halloween promotion this year:

The Halloween season is a special time in Pokémon GO. Plenty of good stuff is coming to the game later this October, and we can’t wait to get out and about to see what sort of excitement we can scare up while catching new Pokémon to fill out our Pokédex.

Rumor: New Layton game next summer, more talk of Inazuma Eleven for Nintendo platforms, Snack World localization

The latest issue of License! Global contains a feature about Level-5. Apparently, the magazine has some information about what’s to come for the company.
First, License! Global claims that a new Layton game is planned for late summer 2018. Actual details about the title are not provided.
The magazine goes on to talk about what’s next for Inazuma Eleven – specifically Inazuma Eleven. While it was already pointing in this direction, there’s further talk about the new game coming to Nintendo platforms.
Finally, License! Global indicates that The Snack World will be localized. It sounds like the plan is to bring the IP west starting in 2018 and 2019.
