The Alliance Alive receives more details about its world and turn-based battles

This week’s issue of Famitsu contains a six-page article on The Alliance Alive, FuRyu’s new RPG and successor of sorts to The Legend of Legacy. A couple of the pages were rehash, but new information was included as well.
To recap, the game follows a story in which the Demon Clan invaded the human world thousands of years ago. After the lands were split apart, they are now ruled by a caste system that puts the Demon Clan at the top.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon finally launched last week. As the two games were approaching their release, Japanese magazine Famitsu caught up with director Shigeru Ohmori and series producer Junichi Masuda to speak about the new games.
Ohmori and Masuda had plenty to say about the challenge of implementing Z-Moves, getting the most out of the 3DS hardware, and new Pokemon/features introduced this time around. Head past the break for our full translation.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon launched in North America last week. Our friends in Europe were forced to wait slightly longer for the games, but they released in PAL regions a few days ago as well. Now that everyone has had some time to experience Sun/Moon, it’s time to talk about them.
How many of you are playing through the new 3DS titles currently? If you are, do you have any particular thoughts about them? Do you like the new Trials, or do you prefer the old Gym system? Get five Circle Entertainment games for $1 each on the 3DS eShop

Five games from Circle Entertainment are now just $1 on the 3DS eShop. Fairune, KAMI, The Legend of Dark Witch, Tappingo, and Witch & Hero can be downloaded for that small price. The discounts are valid until December 1.

Zelda: Majora’s Mask Wii U Virtual Console release facing upgrade price issues

Wii U Virtual Console games come with a special upgrade price for those who originally bought them on Wii. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, which hit the North American eShop on Thursday, is supposed to be the latest example of this. However, we’re hearing reports that the discounted price simply isn’t showing up.
Readers TruExtent and 1056kirby both reached out to Nintendo’s customer support service to investigate the problem. In both instances, they were told that it’s being worked on. It could take up to a couple of weeks before the discounted price of $2 begins to appear, though.

TOMY’s new Z-Ring toy interacts with Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. When using a Z-Move, it lights up to correspond with what’s happening in-game.
GameXplain now has a brief video showing how the Z-Ring toy works. It actually uses sound from the 3DS to detect when it should be lighting up. Have a look at the Z-Ring in action below.

Bridge Constructor Playground hitting the European Wii U eShop on December 8

Towards the beginning of next month, Joindots will be bringing Bridge Constructor Playground to the European Wii U eShop. A listing on the store indicates that the title is planned for December 8.
As the title suggests, Bridge Constructor Playground is all about bridge building. You can create your own bridges over deep valleys, canals, and rivers in over 30 levels.

New Pokemon 3DS travel pouches arriving next month based on the Legendary Birds

Next month, HORI will release three new Pokemon travel pouches for 3DS. Each one is officially licensed by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos are the three options available.
Each pouch is a two-tone case compatible with New 3DS XL, 3DS XL, and 3DS systems. There are also pockets for cell phones, adapters, chargers, game cards, and more. HORI is including clip-on shoulder strap, belt loops, and carabiner.
These pouches should be coming out on December 20.
